These are some of the greatest talents in history on their respective instruments, and he is doing it all. Sorry folks - this guy sold his soul to the devil. If only he had bargained with Lucifer to be able to sing too. Seriously, how does this not have 10mil views?
I respect his ability to play all the instruments on these songs (some parts are a bit rough) and the work he put into this fine tribute, BUT, with all due respect he didn't create these pieces from scratch like RUSH did never mind the fact that they did so like 40 years ago. So, he didn't actually surpass them in terms of musicianship. Imho, there really is no comparison.
Uhh, Christianity is a hoax. All of its stuff was ripped off from much older sources and very much butchered. The God thing and Satan/Lucifer thing, are created from older sources. So the Biblical junk didn't actually exist. How can you sell your Soul to hoax religious characters? Honestly, you have to seek these kinds of videos. Which is fantastic!

Incredible. What a talented guy. Needless to say. How dedicated you are to be able to pull this off. Nothing easy ever about covering a Rush song. I am inspired!!!!!! I hope Geddy, Alex and Neil (May he rest peacefully) appreciate this undertaking.
Holy shit dude- you nailed it! That was incredibly impressive, given just how precisely you played each part, and how very complex and difficult they are to play. And on 4 different instruments!! 👏 I will be sharing this with other Rush enthusiasts 👍
WOW.... let's see... the right word... EARGASMIC!! Spot on on all aspects... The mere fact you hit all little things that most people bypass just to get the song done, you didn't do! That shows 100% dedication and respect to how Rush has written these songs! THANK you for sharing your talent with us Antoine.
Antoine, absolutely amazing. I cannot imagine the time effort and commitment that it took to make such a tribute to R U S H. Thank you so much with sharing your talent with the world. You have assumed control, and drank the milk of paradise.
Incredible! Insanely well done! I greatly appreciate this and your talent and hard work! I'm a music teacher and rush fan but not nearly as big as my dad (My middle name is Neill)! Sadly, he just passed away from a stroke on May 25th 2022 at 58 years old. Been researching music for his memorial and came across this. So glad I found it and thankful for your medley. It truly has made my day. I will have to play this for family in honor of him and his great love of the best band ever, RUSH. God bless you and your family.
That was the most amazing rush medley's I've ever had the good fortune to come up on UA-cam suggestions Totally blown away thank you for uploading That limelight solo always gives me goosebumps hearing rush play it and you sir did the same. Totally awesome & respect for your dedication 👍
That's just pure awesomeness Antoine!. I am watching this as I just heard of Neal Peart's passing! Thank you, sir, for all the amazing music! RIP Neal!
This started off with me feeling a little iffy, because I detected something off about the tone of the guitar in the very beginning, but by a minute or so in, I was feeling blown away. EXCELLENT WORK! This deserves heaping praise and respect, and it should be enjoyed as far and wide as possible. Thank you!
Great job, Antoine. All my gear is now up for grabs on eBay because of this video. Now, how about a one man Dream Theater medley for the encouragement to stand out in rush hour traffic? 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, dude...that was some great stuff. I would be happy to play just one of those instruments that well. To be able to do them all is just insane. I hope you at least get a job working in a studio band. Amazing.
This is the third One Man video by Antoine Baril I have heard tonight (Yes, genesis and now this). It's 4:34 in the morning and I will now go to bed somewhat stunned after hearing and seeing this very talented musician. Goodnight from a UK drummer ...ZZz...Zzz...zzz...
Man tes une bête !!!! j't'écoutais avec Gravel dans le retour tantôt, et là avec ma petite dans le divan , solide. La dernière fois je t'avais vu joué c'étais pour un tribute à Death !!!! keep on the good work. Neil would be proud .
I've watched this four or five times now. I am not a musician myself, but I know enough about techniques, structure, rhythm and timing that I can tell when someone is doing a cover and they get it somewhat right. Or when they get it mostly right. OR, when they out-and-out NAIL IT. I love how you took the opportunity to do a little personal ad-libbing on the guitar solo in La Villa, just to shake it up a bit, and put a little bit of yourself into that mournful phrasing. But, the ABSOLUTE FIDELITY on all other points, and doing so in a seamless medley of songs from the breadth of the Rush catalogue....while playing ALL FOUR INSTRUMENTS yourself...?!! Bravo, sir. Again, along with the rest of the planet, I am in complete awe at what you have done here.
It's a crying shame this man has such a low number of subscribers. He's an amazing multi-instrumentalist who goes beyond being a fan of all the amazing musics he reproduces. Genesis, Yes, ELP, Rush and more! It's one thing to be able to play ONE instrument and copy a famous musician's songs and play-style, but to copy every single band component masterfully is talent on a whole different level. I am subscribed. Never stop what you are doing Antoine because I don't think anyone is as good as you at what you do!
Outstanding and inspirational. As a lifelong Rush fan and guitarist I can really appreciate and enjoy this video. Even better, my 14 yr-old drummer son and his band have picked up on Rush's greatness and are spending hours learning and performing their stuff. He's also doing the synth and picking up the bass as well, so I can't wait to show them this video! Thanks so much and keep it coming!
I play guitar, keyboards, bass and drums, all in my own studio - at least I ‘thought’ I did till I found these ‘ONE MAN’ videos. Superb! What a talent in every quarter. Thank you - look forward to more 1st Class shows. 👍
I'm curious to know what Rush's reaction to this is, if they've even seen it. I'm guessing a VIP personal meeting is in order, if not. I am speechless, this is so good.

Mind blowing. The part that really tore my head off was La Villa Strangiato. The dynamics were spot on.
These are some of the greatest talents in history on their respective instruments, and he is doing it all. Sorry folks - this guy sold his soul to the devil. If only he had bargained with Lucifer to be able to sing too. Seriously, how does this not have 10mil views?
Even being able to sing would not be fair to the rest of the world.
Pure awesomeness Fun!!👍👍😊😊
Lost for words, just amazing... Performace, production, perfect
Impressive as hell!!! This video is why Rush is my favorite band!! Damned nice job, absolutely nailed it! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
i´m a FAN of "one Man Genesis" and Now RUSH after YES.
NOTE: I am a drummer who plays bass and keyboards but I have no words to classify Antoine Baril.
This guy is a great virtuoso! Thankful for day accidentally finding this channel.
Salute from BraziL: Tulio - in Love with my TAMAAAAAAAAAA -----
He is a musical virtuoso
Awesome! 😮😯😲🤤
you, sir, are my new hero! Incredible.
Dude - serious respect!! Covering all the instruments in a Rush Medley is insane. Awesome job!!
If you could clone yourself, you could tour as a Rush tribute. That would be awesome.
Antoine j'adore ton solo de guitar sur La Villa Strangiato, tu y met autant de passion et d'émotion que sur la version originale ... c'est magnifique !
Incredible. What a talented guy. Needless to say. How dedicated you are to be able to pull this off. Nothing easy ever about covering a Rush song. I am inspired!!!!!! I hope Geddy, Alex and Neil (May he rest peacefully) appreciate this undertaking.
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Made me smile. Which is what it should be all about. Great clip.
Holy shit dude- you nailed it! That was incredibly impressive, given just how precisely you played each part, and how very complex and difficult they are to play. And on 4 different instruments!! 👏
I will be sharing this with other Rush enthusiasts 👍
Not your everyday replay - top-notch, excellence: playing, mixing, composition, and most of all LOVE!
I dont even know what to say..........
Wow. Simply Amazing.
Insanely awesome. Omg. Ridiculously phenomenal
WOW.... let's see... the right word...
Who the hell is this guy !!!???!! Amazing Talent !!! He's being shared on my Facebook page !!!
Danny Boy it's me hehe! Thanks man!
Antoine Baril Amazing talent, my friend. Extremely well done!
Genius!!!
That was the most amazing rush medley's I've ever had the good fortune to come up on UA-cam suggestions
Totally blown away thank you for uploading
That limelight solo always gives me goosebumps hearing rush play it and you sir did the same.
Seriously, dude...that was some great stuff. Can't believe it took so long for me to find this! Thanks for making my day...keep on rockin'! 👍🏻
Oh My!
Goodness Gracious!
Holy Cow!
People post RUSH covers a lot. And I'm left wondering why they decided to do that. This however is a blessing to us. Thank you Sir.
I had tears in my eyes the whole way. This is love and talent to the nth degree, ROCK ON!
WOW! Amazing!!! Thanks for that
I would be happy to play just one of those instruments that well. To be able to do them all is just insane. I hope you at least get a job working in a studio band. Amazing.
Bravo, Antoine!
Quite incredible, literally stunning
Sweeeeeeet! Or should I say "parfait!" Great medley, and great playing throughout. Cheers...
Thanks so much and keep it coming!
really impressive.... as a huge Rush fan my whole life this blew me away. Cheers to you brother.....
+Mark Elia Thank you very much! :)
87 idiots as of 5/20/2020 - how has this been on for 5 years and I'm just now finding out about this musician?
David Deane all under 24.p years old.
I never knew of his existence until a couple of days ago when I witnessed the Yes medley which was as incredible as the Rush one
I think it's safe to assume that well all the other kids were playing video games Antoine was playing till his fingers bled. You're AWESOME brother!
we are absolutely blessed having this gentleman gifting us with his extraordinary talents !!! thank you ever so much !! O
you're a monster (master) !
I loved the witch hunt part.
me too! that was somehow really different, and reeeaaally good :-)
I know, it has a very a powerful sound!
absolutely astonishing, i'm laughing my ass off this is so good ...
I play guitar, keyboards, bass and drums, all in my own studio - at least I ‘thought’ I did till I found these ‘ONE MAN’ videos. Superb! What a talent in every quarter. Thank you - look forward to more 1st Class shows. 👍
Oh. My. God. I feel like I have been to church. Thank you.
If I was a neighbor I’d complain when he DIDNT jam Rush.
YEAH!!!. and other stuff too (laffin)!!!
I'm curious to know what Rush's reaction to this is, if they've even seen it. I'm guessing a VIP personal meeting is in order, if not. I am speechless, this is so good.
Never had any contact with them, they are vey private and I respect that.
Yes, quite private, but truly humble guys. Canadian, eh. Happy to sub to your channel, and keep up the amazing tributes with your brilliant playing.
DUDE. DUDE. DUDE. WAIT. PLEASE. You HAVE to keep doing this covers. I am completely blown away by the sound you have achieved. Everything is played perfectly and the mix sounds really really really similar to RUSH's!
Could you do entire RUSH covers in the future? I so looking forward to that.
Cheers from another RUSH fan, good luck!
Tetasha Thanks a lot for your words man. It's been a lot of work to be able to recreate the tones as close a they were back then but with a modern approach.
Thanks man!
Tetasha Look for Tyler Warren
I just watched him play permanent waves in it’s entirety ... even better he also songs
Incredible
