I was so happy to see thst you has a new video out..I definitely look forward to spending a little time with you. The blsnket is beautiful. You have a good sense of how colors shouod be layered.
Yes, I am crocheting this beautiful pattern with you. Really enjoying it and your videos. Russian Join was first done by 2 Russian women lace makers. This is the technique they used to splice the fine threads together without knotting. I don't remember their names, the century, or the history book I learned it from.
I am doing your blanket, but i am using DK weight yarn and a 4mm hook size, its looking really cool, i love the russian join 😛 edit, I use us terminology even though i am in the UK i cant use British terms at all 😂

Wonderful! Yes, thank you for the info. I like using the Russian join for thicker yarns. How's your blanket coming along?

I have learned the British terms because of all the crochet alongs' that I have done over the years.

HOLY SCHMAKERS WHAAAT IS THIS TRICK!!!
Ah, yes, the russian join...it's quite the magic trick...lol
My blanket isn’t working out question I’m using a J hook should I go down to I hook like you
Probably. With using a bigger hook you're using up more yarn and that will change the way my pattern works.
@@jennie-grannysquarepeg I guess pulling it out again, thank you
