    Yes, I am crocheting this beautiful pattern with you. Really enjoying it and your videos.
    Russian Join was first done by 2 Russian women lace makers. This is the technique they used to splice the fine threads together without knotting.
    I don't remember their names, the century, or the history book I learned it from.

    I am doing your blanket, but i am using DK weight yarn and a 4mm hook size, its looking really cool, i love the russian join 😛 edit, I use us terminology even though i am in the UK i cant use British terms at all 😂

      I have learned the British terms because of all the crochet alongs' that I have done over the years.

    My blanket isn’t working out question I’m using a J hook should I go down to I hook like you

      Probably. With using a bigger hook you're using up more yarn and that will change the way my pattern works.
