Killer guitar. I just cant get past how sterile EMG's sound. I've only used passive pups now for many years and that's probably why it stands out so much to me. They sound good, right and clear. They just sit weird in the mix to me. I actually had an 81 USA ML string through back in 96. It was black w/cream white binding and gold hardware. Zebra DiMarrzio's and 100% original accept the tuners. They were Sperzel. I traded a two year old PRS CE24 sunburst that I played the guts out of. It needed a fret job. It was in a pawnshop. They had that ML marked for $850 bucks. Looking back,....the guy probably thought he was hosing me,....but if you look at 94 CE24's(haven't moved) and 81 ML's today??? Well. He would be the one crying the blues I think. Lol.
My name is judge Harrell I am disabled and I am looking to find out if anybody knows if there is such a place that donate guitars to the disabled and no I am not a disabled vet I had a stroke and now I am to the point that I need to work on my dexterity and my hand and I coordination. The Seymour Duncan pickups that came in the guitar sound fine to me, by I don't like EMG actives or Seymour Duncan really .
