Been a Rotary fanatic now for over 15 years. I'm absorbing these videos like a sponge. Thank you for doing all this research! You should write a book with all this condensed info in it. I'd buy at least 5 and give them to my Rotary friends!
Wow just watched all the rotary engine videos you have and every single one is gold!🥇.. Please make more videos its rare finding a person who knows what they are talking about. I enjoy how you make it easier to learn by giving examples/comparison on subjects that are rarely covered by people in the rotary world. Thank you for the great content & information 👏👍
Hi , thank you for the content it is very rare but also highly detailed. Would you be able to explain why rotaries above 600 hp start to have failure on the side seal . Is their really any solution to this on a 2 rotor?
Thanks mate. This answered a few questions I've had over the last 25 years I've been tinkering on my FD track car (started as my daily till it got a roll cage). I have a question for you, what DIY ECU would you recommend for a single turbo rotary? I've used a powerFC with datalogit and done my own tuning for years, but now want to remove the dash and put a tablet display in. I can do basic wideband logging when I use a laptop but want that built-in which the powerFC can't do. Is the Speeduino up to the job? Or do you recommend one of the others out there? Cheers
I'm kind-of out of the loop, because I kind-of quit - I'm thinking about doing more Rus, ie, actually fitting it to my car, but all this stuff is a lot of work and I'm not motivated -. I think Speedy does rotary, and I think it has tablet display(maybe shadow-dash? -. I don't think Rus does rotary - I think someone got it running but not driven on the road -, but it might just need code. It should be able to do it if it's leading only or no timing split between L and T, but you have to ask them.
@@SidneyCritic thanks, I was just being lazy and hoping you'd done the research already. I'm slowly going through your vids to familiarize myself with the DIY stuff
Learned more about rotors in these 10 min than my entire life
