I am a HS shop teacher. Do you think this XR would be a good table for a metal shop?
There are certainly plenty of options out there, but my experience with both langmuir tables I have owned has been universally positive. Yes, I would say the XR would be an excellent option for a high school metal shop.

Overall cool CNC table but stupid water table design!
Seems to make shipping work easier as it all comes in a manageable crate
I agree totally on the stupidity of the water table..
How does it make the shipping easier? One of the two crates is full machine length, they could have put a one-piece water pan and all parts in a single crate. The only place it makes shipping easier is when they are shipping all the junk parts over from their manufacturer in China.
I’m mean for real, they couldn’t come up with a better way to attach the water pan than to screw through the bottom of it? Rule 1 for making something waterproof: don’t put holes in it!
It took me forever to assemble mine because I kept having to stop and redesign the absolutely insane mistakes that they made.
@@CrawfordMethod Well , if you are in the USA , its a free market instead of crying the blues make one thats BETTER and put them out of business or just sell an aftermarket watertable . these tables are designed to meet a price point .
