you guys do great justice to this glorious band! what a great reaction. I would recomend "Twilight Tavern live at Wacken festival" or " Rum, Women, Victory" I love the vibe of you both !!
You are spot on with your "live" comment. Them and Alestorm are the two bands whenever I see them live I know I wont stand still a second and chanting along until I can't speak anymore and I am drenched in sweat leaving the venue with a big smile on my face. Although I wish them big success, such as with Amon Amarth or Arch Enemy, but I hope they keep playing club shows as once bands move to Arena size audience it takes away the magic with the audience.
These guys (Ensiferum) are a ton of fun when it's time to dig into some epic metal. Fun suggestion: same band, Stone Cold Metal...filthy musicianship, & a slowdown in the middle where they restart with a series of solos, beginning with a BANJO! So yeah, Stone Cold Metal. And...I feel like these two are ready for some Suidakra and some Eluveitie, 2 bands fusing traditional Celtics music & instruments with metal/melodic death metal. I get a huge kick out of the blend of heavy guitars, DM vox, & bagpipes, tin whistles, fiddles, & even hurdy-gurdies. It's a blast, & so given what fun these two have listening to interesting & good music, it seems like a match made in...well, wherever such matches are made.
Ensiferums first two albums are both amazing. Sadly, with the departure of Jari (their first vocalist), the quality also drops (in my opinion). In the end, guess we should feel lucky, as Ensiferum continued, and we got Wintersun on top of it :)
@@petertapola8097 Victory songs is also my favorite album from Ensiferum. From Afar is also a masterpiece. Unsung heroes was bit below that level after those albums.
Porcupine Tree - Heartattack in a Layby Haken - Nil by Mouth Leprous - Contaminate Me (Live At Rockefeller Music Hall) Mastodon - Oblivion Caligula's Horse - Daughter of the Mountain / Marigold
One of my favorite bassist is in this band Sammi Hinkka. As fare as I know he has at least 5 string bass, but mostly play 6 string. I might be wrong, but I think he has a 7 string one, I know he has a least one 12 string.
Man I really think you guys would be all over Dimmu Borgir. This is not the first band you've reacted to that gives me some of their vibes. Gateways live at forces of the northern light Hybrid stigmata the apostasy Kings of the carnival creation Been hoping you would check them out for quite some time. They're vocalist, Shagrath, has one of the wickedest voices out there.
Your Ensiferum reactions are hilarious 😁 please do more!
If you ever come back around to ensiferum give eternal wait a listen.
Absolutely LOOOOVE this classic song! Thanks so much for reacting to it :)

Ensiferum - Token Of Time is pretty much essential classic from this band
Ensiferum was headlining Wacken 2008 u should check out the concert
Thanks for supporting Finland 💪🏻
If you love Viking battle metal, then you need to check out Turisas. I recommend the song One more, for a proper battle ready, beer swilling anthem!
It's folk metal
There's not a bad song on this album. My favorites are either Token Of Time or Windrider.
Old Man is my favorite song of all time. It checks all my personal boxes for a metal song :D

Iron and their self-titled are such great albums
one more suggestion is Guardians of Fate by Ensiferum - amazing song :)

I like the third album the best. Wintersun, for some reason, doesn't work at all for me.
I agree completely, PlacidDragon!
The first two are perfect. But "From Afar" is a masterpiece in its own right.
Their last album is not bad actually. Also From Afar is great .. but generally speaking I agree with you. Ensiferum after Jari was never the same.
@@petertapola8097 Victory songs is also my favorite album from Ensiferum.

Unsung heroes was bit below that level after those albums.
Run, Women, Victory!! 🤘🤘
Dimmu borgir - Gateways
я русский люблю ваш канал, а энсиферум слушаю с 2001-го года

If you want the father of all the epicness of metal story, check out Bathory
Maybe The Land - Bathory or Blooded Shores - Bathory
If you like Ensiferum then I guess you would love to listen to Finntroll and Moonsorrow! Btw, it seems I´m not alone in my suggestion ;)
You like epic metal but haven't heard Epica? Epica - Consign To Oblivion Live at Zenith!
listen Finntroll u guys
