I swear monster hunter characters are built different, being able to just straight up shoulder check a savage jho in the face and win is just mind boggling
@@nothisispatrick5691The fact even among hunters only very very few reach high rank and master rank is also crazy. Being a hunter already means you're stronger than normal but to be a master rank one idk you're on some serious steroid like strength x100
It really was the perfect addition. Makes it easier for newbie GS mains to get TCS, lets elite GS players find new ways to express skill, adds utility to otherwise useless moves like Side Blow and JWS, feels satisfying to use. Honestly criminal that we lost it in Rise.
Its more so to compensate for the more agile monsters in late game that doesnt give enough breathing room to do a full TCS from scratch. The slinger move just allows GS to actually keep up
My Gamelplay si pretty the same. The difference look more like "Get hit -> Drink potion.Get hit again -> drink potion -> getting hit so guess What ? I drink potion again."
If you're referring to the jho clip I clutch clawed him to get the opening for lvl2 TCS. When you grapple onto a monster you get 5 additional seconds of him staying in that position, this counts even if you don't perform the tenderizing attack. Honestly I wouldn't use CC to close distances, as you are better off just running towards the monster.
@@Jinchuricki27it's called claw stagger (clagger) when the monster is drooling. This is a 7 sec stagger Clutch clawing when claggered resets the timer, so in theory you could have a 14s window where the monster is afk if you time it right for your team, or about 5s for you if you get off the monster
That move that was countered with the first tackle in the clip is essential to the flow of Jho’s hunts. Whenever you see it coming you’d better try and hit him mid animation, since by doing so you’ll either send him in this tired state or on the ground depending on how early you land your move (any kind of damage value works). Here comes the fun part: While he’s stunned I time my GS hits so that the TCS lands as soon as the recovery animation is over; this way he’ll be sent into a clagger state. I then grapple onto him, get down and time the TCS again so that it hits as soon the animation is over. If performed correctly and with sufficient damage he’ll go back to that original move, thus achieving a sort of stunlock loop. (note that it is very easy to mess up, had a few runs where small monsters ruined the whole process by hitting me once)
After finally putting my first 2 days into this game starting off with gs and into hunter horn, seeing the timing of your moves and how fluid the attacks were insane. I’m definitely going back to gs again 😂
The spacing is ✨️Immaculate✨️ also watching Velkhana get punked like that was a joy. I play GS only so I went back and tried some of these moves on her and well... it didn't really go my way 😅 she humbled my ass real quick. Amazing video, you've got some serious skills
keep on trying. the great thing with gs is that learning the clean punishes is often surprisingly accessible. strap on some beefy resistance on your armor and keep on training. maybe the perfect tcs step back on the frost breath from above is a bit hard to pull off, well, you can tackle the attack just as well, to transition to tcs, which is much more forgiving on positioning. everybody get it wrong until they get it right.
How did you keep Savage Jho still for so long like that? I know the Clagger thing, but I'm guessing the constant big hits kept him from enraging so he was just standing there constantly exhausted so he couldn't do much?

@@Blasteronefr No worries! And yeah, it's really great as it took me a while to really understand Jho hunts. I thought he was just an unstoppable monster and I just had to deal with what he did. Missing TCS is normal, using wide slash instead of tackle happens very often, side blow instead of strong charged slash in fight as well. Sometimes it plays good for you, but at times you just want to nuke the save and never play it again. 🤬
It's either full velk y + fatalis' arms a (for frost craft); or full fatalis set (all b except for waist a) with velk y pants. Both sets use Fatalis' GS.
That read on Velkhana... I have never seen such disrespect in a game vs AI...
That Glavenus kill felt more like a sword fight than a hunt, that was badass

In a game where monsters move around this much I just can't hit anything with the greatsword.
Your positioning is perfection man. Great runs
Strong arm stance is something i will cry when i leave it behind however ill never forget my 5k usages in world
