Yeah those aren't full pushups. Years ago I used to do the same things. Could do over 50 reps easy and multiple sets but never got proper outcomes to gaining strength and muscle as much as doing a full push up. Chest to the ground going down, going up to arms fully extended to locked out. Tense your core and don't rush it. If you put in the hard work to do it properly your get better results. Also take creatine too
