- Have you ever suddenly realised you’ve been saying something wrong your whole life? Because this left me shook #ThatEnglishmanInTexas #OliPettigrew #pun #puns #language #todayyearsold
I tried to make my wife laugh with ten different puns, but no pun in ten did. :)
I don't think it's wrong... when people accidentally make a pun they say 'no pun intended', so it makes sense that when you make a pun on purpose you say 'pun intended', because that's the opposite of 'no pun intended'. It's funny that 'punintended' could be considered a pun, but language is what we use it as, and when someone says 'pun intended', you know they mean it was on purpose, not accidental.
Watch until the end.
@@-Subtle- Don't worry, I did. He asked us to be honest, and I was. :) Like I said, a funny observation, but 'I Bet You've Used This Phrase WRONG' is clickbaity and incorrect.
No hate to the creator though, we all make mistakes
I’m dyslexic so this a circular argument that I can’t really follow.
I've only ever used pun intended to mean that I did, actually, mean and intend the pun.
This is great 😂😂😂
Guilty lol
Silliness.

Me who doesn't do puns and never has, but clicked on the video to check if this youtuber was talking about a proper english phrase. Not this kind of thing:
