I’m in trucking school and this is my last week of training and I’m currently struggling with the offset reverse set and my instructor yells at me and I get very upset because of that and I need to pass all of my skills test including PreTrip Outside Of Cab and In Cab PreTrip god knows if I can pass everything on my First try I’m at the point of giving up on my dreams and future been working hard to get this far in my life 💯
@@EricTaylor-ji5nm I know man it’s hard but we have to stay positive and focused on our CDL License My Main goal is to pass my Offset today on my First try but by the looks of it it’s still going to be tough for me to get through the offset cause my school was going to schedule me for my Driving Exam
Hi Steve, I have a question, when start reversing back to passenger side, at the very beginning of backing, when your right trailer wheel pass the first tandem a little bit, then you make a hard left, then the next step is making a hard right, my question is when do you make a hard right?
Hey Steve, have a question! My school taught me that when my driver side rear trailer corner is not that line, that’s when I will turn to the right! In the video, it seems like you are going pass that to make sure the trailer is in the box, is that accurate! Am I missing something? Thank you sir
Hello i just failed my test last week with this maneuver we been practicing in a 53ft at schoʻol at the testing site they have us driving a 40ft which is a total difference im doing my setup like this. Should my wheels be before the cones at the box since its shorter im confused any suggestions the truck only has one tire in the back instead of 2. I really need to past
So basically my question is should I stop my tire before I get to that cone by the box and then make my right or doʻ I need to go past the cone and then make a right.
Before ur first bump. How do u know where to stop? What do I look for? I failed my #4 yesterday. Will test again this coming week. This video is top notch. Any advice would help. Thank you. Please help…
I failed mine to did you pass? Sorry to hear it's a shame everyone is bout a dollar. Where they can't answer a simple question we are already done with school just needed some advice they can't even answer one question
After getting the back of the trailer inside of the box and beginning to bump the trailer over, when should you stop bumping the trailer over and start getting the tractor inside of the box? Like is there is something to look for to know when the trailer is bumped over far enough?
@@TwiztedD One more question, in the beginning when he makes the turn all the way to the left to go to the right, what is a good stopping point, like what is he looking for to stop turning to the left, so he can begin going all the way to the right and get the tractor and trailer straight?

Get the back of the trailer in the box then move the front in the box and finish with the truck straight.
How do you know when the first step is good? Like the tires and the cone. I'm having trouble with this maneuver.
I kept trying different spots till I found what works for us
@TwiztedD Okay. I was just trying to figure out which process is better. when the cone and the first tires or the after the first tires.
