Hi there, I noticed you have drift compensation on, which on official trackers can actually introduce more drift. Turning it off should give better results. Also, when you do have drift, you dont need to recalibrate in vrc, you can actually just look straight and double tap the chest tracker for a yaw reset. This can even be done while sitting or laying down. Also, you appear to be doing manual mounting, which isnt actually recommended. Automatic usually works much better, especially for sitting and laying down.
i had a friend who bought the slimevr and they waited a year and then cancelled their order when they learnt that they were delivering the 2022 packages at the moment, so they bought vive instead, this was 2 months ago. so based on that info i'd rather just buy vive for the same price
Based on their discord's most recent updates all remaining 2023 orders are now going to the shipping company, which will be sending it out in the coming weeks. The next shipment is being assembled by an external company and are going to be ready for shipping soon, this would be the bulk of 2024 orders. Shipment 11 would finalize all backlog orders from which point they can simply be in stock for immediate sales, this is expected to be around October.
@@AJDoesStuffvive ultimates are still in a closed beta, and just had their official release about a month ago. Most of the bugs and issues have been ironed out, but it’s still not perfect. I don’t exactly have the best room shape for basestations and 3.0’s, nor do I have the money, so 500$ for 3 ultimates and the straps for me are great.
I'm OBSESSED with my slimes!! the 6-month long wait was so worth it. i did notice you have your thigh trackers really far up, whereas i keep mine just above the knee. Makes me wonder what the difference in tracking is like. my favorite part of slimevr is the double tap yaw reset, its so quick and easy. Also, just a tip, you don't need to have the auto body proportions, it's actually better if you reset those by going into manual proportions and hitting the button for that in the bottom right corner!! learned that from ZRock themselves when i met them for the first time. It is also worth noting that ZRock has a video on the set up, copying everything they do there really improves the tracking quality.

I had a question, I ordered my slime vr in august and was wondering how long it took you to get yours so I can have an estimate on when to expect mine. (Crowd supply telles me Oct 31st. for shipping)
@Danieldrummer-vs9ke Oct. 31st should be a good estimate, I ordered mine in July of 2023 I think. Back then, they didn't have the parts. That's just the thing with crowdfunding, people buy it way before it publicly releases and complains that it takes so long.
@MissesChubby Basically you need a PC that can connect to the internet, it doesn't need to be pcvr capable. You use the program and it uses OSC like Viso

Vive ultimates are NOT the same price; and my friends have more problems with Vive ultimates than I have with SlimeVR

I use the Core Set, which is 5 + 1.
I recommend the 5 + 3, anything past that is only really for motion capture for animation.
How many trackers do you use?
