    Dark ages "mower" is a plowshare. It's a tool you can pull, or have an animal pull, that will dig a long, shallow ditch to till dirt for planting seeds. All things considered, it's probably the closest equivalent to our modern lawn mowers.

    Another thing the healer zombie can do is when it’s defeated normally, the staff will plant itself in the ground and heal surrounding zombies until it’s destroyed.

      @@RambunctiousPerson Ah, misread that. I play Altverz so as of this moment I am clueless on how that works. The fact the healer zombie can do that and Creeps literally didn't mention it means that it is a non factor in anything.
      Giving the staff more health and making it so that it necromancies zombies that died in a radius around it may be an interesting take on that. Would just be an instant plant bait if that was implemented but still, would at least be more than a non factor.

      That is correct actually. Fun fact! The staff on the ground heals by raw numbers instead of percentage. For some reason. PVZ2 is the game of all time.

    I think Carnie zombies would make for a decent world IMO. They all have synergy, that being pushing deep into your defenses. Stiltwalkers don't take knockback and just walk past everything, then start eating once they take enough hits. Carnie Cannon (if that's its name) shoots basically a buckethead into the middle of your lawn. Firebreathers sprint towards your plants and burn them. Magicians teleport zombies further forward, and spawn doves that steal a couple plants. While the theme "Carnival" isn't really a time period, the Carnies are the best bet for a new world (take notes modders)

    List of wacky ideas for a Zombosseum rework:
    -Have Statues and/or Vases be the main gimmick of the world. They mostly just act like Frozen Blocks, but can be interacted with by most of the zombies.
    -Shield Zombies have somewhere between level 2 and level 3 defense. If their shield is broken and they encounter a prop (grave, statue, vase) they'll pick it up and use it as a shield instead, replenishing their defense. If they're killed while carrying a prop without breaking it somehow (perhaps through some means of piercing,) they'll drop it where they stand, effectively placing it down on the tile they died on, as well as crushing any plants in the way.
    -Ballistas (Or Zcorpions as they're apparently called) are now Fishermen's weird cousin. They'll throw vases at the plant furthest to the right in their lane. If they hit, they'll destroy it and spawn an imp in its place. If they miss (such as if the plant is shoveled) the vase will land without breaking and become a prop.
    -Healers will walk until they reach the middle of the lawn (around the 5th tile, to be exact) at which point they'll stop in place, and heal any basic zombie that passes by to full health. They can't restore the health of Gargs or other special zombies, only basics, and can't repair armor, however any zombie they heal will get "overheal" equivalent to the extra defense of a cone. If a prop is in the way of the tile they meant to stop at, they'll stop one tile back instead. (IE, if a prop was in the 5th tile, he would stop in the 6th, and if there was one in both 5th and 6th he'd stop in the 7th, so on and so forth.)
    -Medusa mostly functions the same, with the addition that if there's no other prop in her lane, she'll petrify a basic zombie in the tile in front of her, and begin pushing it.
    -Zomboss not only would get an animation overhaul, he'd also gain some of the aforementioned properties of the Ballista. Instead of missiles, he chucks several vases at once at random tiles inbetween the second and sixth tile. (3rd-5th.) Like the Ballista, it will only turn into a zombie if it hits, and if it doesn't destroy a plant, will instead place a vase. He would also gain an attack that allows him to destroy every vase on the yard at once, revealing the imps within. He would automatically do this attack if there's a vase in every lane.

      The whole idea of zombies picking up armor from statues and vases strewn across the lawn reminds me alot of Kung fu world's item frames and how zombies change "classes" depending on what they reach. There are also a bit of some questions about the concepts too, like what if all the tiles from the 5th to the 9th are all occupied? Does the healer act like the zombie king and stay at the beginning of the lawn? But overall you have great concepts for reworks.

    Simple fix to anti synergy, make Medusa able to petrify any backwards da ing zombie, and have ballista spawned zombies walk backwards. This keeps the threat of ballista, and applie pressure with grid items and eventually tanky zombies

    The zomboss design is quite decent, but the animation though... They didn't even give Edgar an animation, he's just stay still holding controllers. The zombot itself literally has just 2 frames of idle animation.

    I would love to see roman zombies reworked. I can see medusa turning plants to stone, similar to octo and wizard, but instead the effect lasts for a minute, in which the plant becomes a pvz 1 grave that cant break. And healer could be reworked to help groups, increase max hp, or heal single targets, making them hard to kill (but its specific numbers, not percentages). And make the overhead shield do something. These are a few ideas i had.

    This is something that's extremely petty in relation to everything else brought up in the Zombies section, but as someone who loves to make dumb images to amuse my friends, I noticed this and I think everyone *has* to know. The revving tires on the Roman Zomboss I Have Already Forgotten The Name Of literally look like someone just changed the hue and applied a paint dot net motion blur effect onto it in like... 15 seconds. Are there even any keyframes on that thing beyond it changing to the revving sprite? Like, at all...? You could literally replicate that "effect" by just... Swapping the sprites out. It's frankly disgusting-looking.

      @@williamrowe8387 Those are two different statements. 'It shouldn't be a world' Implies that it, under no circumstance, should be a world. Rome could be a world! It could be arguably, a good one, too if it was executed differently. But this video criticizes Rome as its conceptually presented in the game. The video doesn't talk about why "Rome shouldn't be a world" like stated, it more specifically talks about, "The current implementation and execution of Rome would not work as a world", which honestly makes the entire premise kinda clickbaity imo.

    I feel like ZCorp and Carnie zombies could be worked into some time periods. Carnie could work in the early 1900s when they were kinda popular, and ZCorp could be set in the future yet potentially earlier than far future.

    I have only encountered the sheilds zombies in pvz2 and i dont have any experience with all the other ones, i hope roman world gets modded in because all it needs is balance changes and a few new zombies, it would maybe take only half a year to add or more. The vanilla leveld were just so boring, easy, and hypercasual that i didn't even want to play them

    It's a lot simpler than you think.
    Rome can't be a world
    BBT can't be a world
    ZCorp can't be a world
    Why? Because worlds give you plants for free, without grinding.
    And guess what Popcap hasn't done since 2015? Giving you plants for free without grinding.
    With the current dev cycle being one new plant that players need to grind like a week or two for, I can't imagine them making 5-6 new plants to give you for free by just beating levels.

      I always thinking, the reason why the process of making new world is not that easy is because they had to make new 5 or 6 plants at a time to given for free. The story mode is completed anyway so there is no reason to add new world in the main storyline (have you even ever seen developer put new stage between stage in the storymode even thought the game completed?), but they can however just make new section for limitless thymed event sort of things though where they didn't have to give plants for free

      I know this is a dumb thing to say, but I hope Reflourished and/or Altverz take a crack at a Roman age. Obviously a lot would need to be changed, but it honestly would fit pretty decently as a bridge between Jurrasic Marsh and Modern Day. I can think of some good plants that would fit for the world, like Olive Oil and Hot Date.

    I think that last part really hit home. We deserve to have high standards for what we want even if we're slowly getting desperate that we aren't getting it.
    If we just lower standards every time things get worse we'll never have nice things ever again.

    I think it's fine for a start. Give the Shield Zombies different mechanics based on weather their shield is up or down (similar to lost city with Excavator and Parasol zombies). Healer can only heal 15% of overall health on a zombie ONCE. Or he would affect plants with a debuff, making them do less damage for 3-5 seconds before needing to cool down for 10 seconds. The Ballista can act more like Catapult zombie from PVZ1 (Umbrella leaf being in Roman Empire as a plant). Medusa is hard to rework however...it could keep its mechanics of turning zombies to stone however i think that would mean that Ballista would launch backwards facing imps that could "feed" its ability essentially. Additional zombies could be the Caesar Zombie (this one acts more like the King rather than a General). Another zombie could be similar to the Bull rider. The Chariot zombie would rush forward and hurl a zombie after coming in contact with a plant. They would land around column 5 normally. The Chariot will act like a Gravestone on the lawn.
    The plants could be Umbrella Leaf, Olive Pit (reworked from a Seedium, function unchanged), Bay Lureel (based on Bay Laurel, acts like a Sweet Potato/Enduring hybrid), Sporeticus (a 3 tile ranged Melee attacker similar to Bamboo Spartan/Scaredy shroom who has high defense when Zombies get to close), and Bamboo Spartan (also reworked from a Seedium).
    The zombot could be remade to resemble a Trojan Horse, though Hotrodicus just needs better animations in all honesty. And a unique gimmick like revving it's engine and sending a lane of fire down a single lane.
    As for world gimmick: arrow rain. Arrows rain from the sky onto 5 random tiles. If a plant is on that tile a net is applied the same as the Gargs imp throw.

    since you're a pvz2 mod creator and player and what not, it'd be cool to see what a modding tutorial by you would be like. especially since what we have now... leaves something to be desired!

    That music makes me think of a character selection screen for an old rpg set in a fantasy world where you play as a barbarian for some reason and I am not quite sure why, it could be either the trumpets or the random shouting

    I concur, if Popcap reorganized and actually focused on putting some soul into the game. Rome would be the coolest concept for a world ever. Some of the zombie ideas prove that concept. They just need to put in actual EFFORT!

    I do have some ideas to make the zombies better because like you said, they could use a little work
    For the medusa, the first step is to remove the ability to petrify hypnotized zombies, that way healer can use that without clashing (note that it can still petrify zombean zombies). Then I think the Medusa should be able to petrify plants it gets close to, like melee attackers, walls, and even instas that need zombies nearby. Then the final step be to lower the health of the marble, or make it proportional to the petrified thing’s hp, just so they’re not too hard to break. This is similar to what octo zombie does but it only affects one lane and it’s more passive, meaning Medusa doesn’t have to go through a long animation to petrify.
    For the upward shield zombie, the basic idea is to make it deflect lobbed projectiles just like a parasol, since that’s kind of what it seems like it wants to do. A slightly larger idea is to make it act like the surfer zombie as well, so it can destroy a zombie in front of it and leave a high health shield for zombies to hide from damage as they move across the lawn.
    My idea for healer is very simple. Let it heal armor, but not if the armor has already fallen off (because then the zombie has essentially become a basic), that way its only synergy isn’t gargantuars
    I also have 2 simple ideas for changing the ballista. The first one is to make it deal damage instead of insta kill, and make it not spawn a zombie. That way it acts like a frontline hurting version of the catapult zombie from pvz1. The other mutually exclusive idea is to make it act similar to imp cannon, where it spawn zombies far ahead into the lawn and will either leave after a while or be destroyed in windows where it’s on cooldown.
    I don’t know what ceasar already does and I have no ideas for zomboss though. Any mod creator that likes these ideas and would want to add these changes in a rome world for their mod would have to come up with changes for zomboss and maybe changes for ceasar too.
    The lawnmower could be changed to some kind of battering ram or spiked and wheeled apparatus, but even these ideas are kind of an afterthought to the zombies, idk
    I tried to make this mostly a frontline hurting world much like big wave beach and I feel it shows. Maybe some of the ideas are too similar to what big wave beach did for them to be the new things these unique zombies do, but idk that’s just my idea

    reworking this world into a Pompeii type area would be neat, where the world gimmick and hazards are volcanic rocks and fissures on the board, and rework some of the zombies, like turn the catapult into the catapult zombie from PvZ 1 where they target the farthest lane first and just hit it with projectiles, make Medusa function better with the freeze ability, maybe turn the shield zombies into something more handy, like the Parasol and shovel zombie, but their shields can be taken by magnet shroom, there's plenty of cool stuff a modder can do with this style, but unfortunately in the state it's in rn, is just super messy

      Actually, the entire zomboss is awful. Basically zero animation, even the revving is just a static effect applied to the wheels. It looks like the team finished the idle animation and then was told by management: "You get 3 hours to finish the rest."

    One of my biggest gripes with these limited-time events is the writing. Remember when the writing used to be funny? In the main game, each of the characters served a purpose: Crazy Dave was the eccentric comic relief, Penny was the straight man (or woman) who would provide info, and Zomboss was the threatening evil mastermind who would usually be one step ahead.
    Now? Dave and Penny are barely present and are replaced by the plants, who are just bland stereotypes: Peashooter is just the hero who spouts generic hero lines, Sunflower is just the optimistic supporter, Wall-Nut is dumb and absent-minded, and Iceberg Lettuce is just... there. And he makes lame ice puns that will _totally_ make any five-year-old laugh. Zomboss has been reduced to just an evil genius who wants to eat brains and is literally animated with PowerPoint, Dave is just obsessed with tacos now, and I guess Penny is still the smart one - kinda.
    And this update has this at its worst. So many of these lines feel so... forced and flavorless. I think the worst line came from Peashooter after beating the Zombot Hot-Rodicus (spoiler alert: it has horrible animation): "When evil doers arise, we are here to save the day!" Was this written by AI? No, seriously, was this written by robots?!

    Okay yes, I absolutely agree. In my opinion, the only modern world that would actually work would be Big Top, but it lacks a world gimmick to set it apart. Even still, the zombies are certainly more interesting. Unfortunately, though, every zombie in all 3 modern worlds is just a harder version of a previous zombie, other than consultant and zcorpion. It definitely is nice that these worlds exist though, since if PvZ2 modders ever want to add a new world, a bunch of art assets are already done for them.

    My rework of the Shield Topper Zombie:
    Shield Topper Zombie would protect zombies in the lane from lobbing plants and be immune to knockback. The shield would not be able to be grabbed by Magnet shroom. Once the shield is broken the zombie would act as normal (maybe with a slight speed boost {it would have a slower speed because it’s carrying a heavy shield}).
    To make the zombie be a semi-threat and not be easily taken down, I’d say increase the shield health so it can’t be 2 shotted by a melon-pult and have a higher chance for them to spawn with armor so that the player would need to check their lawn power.

    I played through the Zombosseum, and I liked elements of it, the Zombie designs were neat.
    But, you could see that they made this in a very short amount of time, so they either tested how people liked the zombie design, or they wanted to make a new world, didn't have enough time and put out the unfinished world as the Zombosseum.
    Still, I had fun playing it, altough it wasn't as challenging as a full on world and not as detailed.

    Alright, I see lots of suggestions on how to improve the Roman zombies, but hear me out: the Roman empire was known for it's great use of war strategies, so, wouldn't it be cool if the zombies actually appeared in effective combat formations, which would need special precise tactics to dismantle. For example: rework shield zombies so they would block damage from the front/above, depending on the way they hold it, and have them go out in a turtle formation. This means the player will have to find a way to kill the front zombie before taking care of the others. Then, add the healer into the mix. He heals the shield zombies, and they protect him. Then, rework Medusa so that she will turn, let's say, instas into stone and have her go with shield zombies or a garg. Now, you will have to find a way to separate them or use 2 instas, 1 - to take Medusa's ability, which goes in a short cooldown. To counter these op formations, I'd give the player more time to prepare and collect a lot of sun. Also, maybe don't even bother spawning single zombies. This could make Rome into a truly unique world, which will make the player completely change their strategy.

      Sounds good on paper, but the execution would be terrible
      You see, it's cool to see almost EVERY zombie working together, but it would be stupidly hard/complicated to counter and also would limit most zombies to one strategy rather than making multiples
      There are some suggestions:
      Make the roman top shield act like the parasol zombie, it would be better
      And that's it, the rest can work like it should

    I havn't played vanilla pvz2 and barely keeps up with it. But seeing the effort now and the minimal effort, it just seems comedic now. The animation for Zomboss made me laugh cause they would NEVER do this. And the zombie syncs with healer and Medusa makes the game seem for funnier in the sense of no attention given. its funny and sad at the same time

    My theory is that there was originally gonna be more worlds before Modern Day and Rome was supposed to come out after Big Wave Beach, However due to some unknown reasons they decided to scrap this entirely and decided to rush Modern Day which explains its lazy mechanics of reusing other zombies. They then decided to make Rome an event later on. (Like Modern Day its also rushed which explains the zomboss fight)

    I feel like they could've made the shield zombies position themselves like the camel zombies but with the top and front facing combined AND a third variant; a shield zombie holding their shield forwards or backwards, so they're completely protected from most attacks. That way, they'd be referencing actual positions used by the Roman military, and being allowed to reflect projectiles would enforce other means of damage in a fun but infuriating way.
    Also, Medusa could've had a third effect of slowly turning the plant closest to her in her lane into stone, like being frozen in frostbite caves. And itd be cool if gravebuster could be used to free stone plants like hot potato did, and give it a new support role

      Yep. It's virtually every magic plant though, not just Shrinking Violet. She's also immune to poison, stun and Primal Pea's knockback.
      Witch Hazel can target her, but she'll only do damage instead of transforming into a mushroom.

    Ways to make this Roman thing better:
    (In my opinion)
    General stuff:
    -Better level design
    -Unique mechanics exclusive to the world (Maybe vases can be randomly scattered around and when broken they provide either a seed packet or a zombie or sun like vase breaker but younneed to destroy them woth plants rather than tap them.)
    -Better soundtrack
    -New plants thst would actually be useful
    Zombies:
    -Shield zombies should always hold their shields up but lower them in front only if they are at the front of the line. -Holding the shields up prevent projectiles harming the line of zombies from above and holding them forwards prevents them being attacked from the front.
    -Plants with projectiles that go through should be more required to harm the zombies faster since the shields should have a lot more HP to make this more of a requirement.
    -Maybe a new plant could do that as well as attack backwards too since their backs won't be protected.
    -Meduca zombie should have at least three stone zombies that she pushes.
    -Any hypnotised zombie or zomboid or zombie that has "chosen a lighter path" or just any zombie facing the opposite direction to your house will get turned to stone if a Meduca is on screen, even if they are in a different line. If turned to stone they will no longer be on tour side and will be back to normal ocne freed from stone.
    -The previous point may sound pointless since youd likely learn prefty fast to not use those types of plants but maybe she can also use her ability whenever she touches a zombie or a zombie comes into contact with the statues shes pushing.
    -Maybe a couple of levels could have protect the plants but the plants are zoybeens.
    -The healer not healing armour is fine since that wouldn't make sense and his way of healing is also fine. What I think would make him better is if he healed multiple zombies at once on screen wirh a preference for more annoying zombies and/or to just heal more often.
    -Maybe the Healer could even give basics an invincibility for a couple of seconds after they get healed.
    -Him removing hypnosis shouldn't be a thing although instead maybe he could remove other effects such as poison.
    -Balistas should have more HP but attack less often and only basic zombies can be summoned from the pots. Basics will have the highest chance, then Coneheads, then Bucketheads.
    -Maybe Umbrella Leaf from PVZ 1 can be added as a new plant for this world to counter the flying pots. And prevent swinging/dropping/thrown zombies in other worlds too.
    -Caesar Zombie instead of just snading there will progress towards the house like zombies.
    -His salad throwing would be more like Octo Zombie and the salads can be destroyed when taken enough damage but it doesnt give the plant back as a cost rather than it speeding other zombies up.
    -His summoning should be made to only summon basic roman zombies but nothing more.
    -Zomboss can have better animations.
    -A zombie should be summoned from the vase every hit, even if it doesn't hit a plant.
    -He should summon zombies from his mouth more often like the other Zombiss Fights.
    -It should be a conveyor level like other Zombiss Fights with plants from the world.

    I have a cool idea for a gimmick for this world:
    In the bar at the top of the screen where the waves are indicated; different symbols will appear across the bar.
    a blue circle with a lightning bolt in the middle indicates a zeuss attack where several random tiles will be stuck by lightning , killing or damaging the plant on that tile.
    a black circle with a skull that has glowing green eyes in the middle indicates a hades attack where tombstones will rise from the ground that are designed to match the world theme.
    a light blue circle with a trident in the middle indicates a Poseidon attack where a wave will appear in a random lane and progress from the right side to left side; washing plants on that row backwards a space.
    a red circle with a sword in the middle indicates an ares attack. A war horn will be heard that causes a smaller wave of zombies to appear on all 5 lanes.

    The roman lawmower is _literally_ a joke. They cut their grass by letting a goat eat it. That's why the mowers are goats.
    I'd also argue the whole issue with none of the levels having sun production objectives or conveyors or whatever isn't really valid. LTEs are only eight levels, a full world is 20+. Taking eight levels and assuming that because none of those eight have conveyors that none of the theoretical other 12 would be is just that, an assumption. Especially since LTE levels in general don't have gimmicks like that.

    I think the biggest problem is the gimmick concept. The zombies would have to be around that concept and could work, but then they would also have to incorporate new plants that would bring counters to them, which would be world inspired. If they can't even do the zombies right then idk how the plants would look

    Alright, I have a few ideas on how to do the zombies in Rome:
    Shield Zombie, they spawn both types in the same row, make them like excavator and umbrella but the up one can block for other zombies as well.
    A spearzombie that has reach and does not trigger on eat effects, tends to spawn with shields.
    Medusa should just upgrade zombies to brickheads.
    To complement this, add a disco like zombie that summons peasants for the army.
    Just make the priest heal normally.
    I don’t like the ballista so say bye.
    No clue for zomboss.
    Also final waves spawn an entire row of shields.

    I feel like this video fails to neglect the main reason why Roman specials don’t really work in their own world and don't synergize with each other: It's because they were very clearly built with Arena and Penny’s Pursuit in mind, NOT normal gameplay. Healer not being able to heal armor? It doesn’t matter in those modes, because you’re more likely to run into a Zombie that DOESN’T have armor over a Zombie with armor. Medusa basically being a silver bullet for minion/hypnosis decks? Well, Zoybean, Turkey-pult, and Caulipower are all super popular picks in those modes, so having a tanky card that counters them makes sense. Roman Shield just being a powercrept Camel Zombie? Arena/PP are modes built around powercrept Plants, so PopCap likely wanted to power creep one of the weakest Zombies to hold its own in those modes. And Zcorpion being so unbalanced? It needs to be unbalanced in modes dominated by unbalanced leveling and OP seediums.
    Contrast the Roman specials with the Backyard Big Top Zombies. These guys were designed with somewhat normal levels in mind, and as such, they synergize with each other pretty well. A lot of them share a unified theme of trying to get Zombies as far into your backlines as humanly possible. Both the normal Carnie Imp and the Carine Imp Twins benefit from being launched deeper into your backlines, which can be accomplished further thanks to Magician’s teleport ability. Magician’s Dove ability and Firebreather eviscerate your front lines and walls, allowing tankier Zombies (Most notably Grinderhead, which benefits from being defeated closer to your house) to sneak further in. And Stiltwalker is a damage sponge who’s ability drops him dead in the center of your defenses, giving the other specials a bit of extra time to use their abilities and get more Zombies into the backlines.

    BTW 6:30 the lawn mower is a wheeled plow which was used by farmers in the medieval times. Usually pulled by cows but I imagine children were used as well.

    Make Zombosuem a world to do list:
    Change the Mowers to mini chariots
    Change Cone and Bucket heads to helmut heads
    Add PVZ 1 exclusive plants and premium plants as unlockable plants in this world
    Add New mechanic (perhaps Bamboo Shoots aswell)
    Turn Medusa Zombie into a reskin of a Wizard Zombie that turn plants into stone instead of a zombie pushing a stone zombie
    Rework and redesign the Zomboss to be another unique Zomboss fight
    New Chariot Zombie that Charge
    Even more new zombies
    New soundtrack for world
    Make overhead shield zombie actually deflect overhead attacks (like catapult attacks)
    I'm out of ideas write yours in the replies

    I'm just getting into your channel and have been finding your videos very interesting. I have a suggestion though: A lot of the time I can't understand what you're saying because you slur your words a bit (I get it, I do that too), so maybe in future you could add some captions or try slowing down when you speak to make enunciating clearer? Been really enjoying the content and am looking forward to seeing you grow and improve!

    To be fair, literally every one of your criticisms can be chalked up to the fact that Zombosseum is a limited time event with 10 total levels, where the actual incentive to play them is not the new content, but rather the prizes locked behind it. The mowers are the one exception to that list, and that's a subjective design choice that you don't agree with, not a valid flaw with any of the levels. They're so non-offensive that I didn't even notice them until you pointed them out.
    And most of them aren't even the "force of nature, capable of dealing real damage" that you critique the Zombosseum mowers for failing to live up to. Ancient Egypt mowers are vacuums with a tiny pyramid on them. An egypt-themed vacuum. A vacuum is only dangerous in the imagination of household pets because the noise is scary. Pirate Seas uses a deck washer (carpet washer but for a wooden boardwalk). Wild West uses some kind of rotor-based mower.
    Frostbite Caves uses a beaver strapped to a piece of wood with four wheels attached. The same exact concept as Zombosseum. An animal strapped to a primitive skateboard, chewing through the zombies. Please stop crying that the new stuff is bad. It's a problem Star Wars fans have, and it's a problem PVZ2 players have. "New is automatically bad, and the faults with the new stuff have never shown up in the old stuff".
    I'd continue to list out the rest of the mowers, but they all basically just become time-period based variations of a lawn mower, like Jurassic Marsh has a Flintstones style lawn mower made out of rocks. But that's another thing. Mowers wouldn't run over a bunch of people, undead or otherwise. A mower might potentially cut one person, but it's not a meat grinder. You'd have to stick your limbs into it for it to cut them off, but you wouldn't get sucked underneath one and disappear into a puff of smoke.
    The decision to make it be a lawn mower that runs over the zombies is based on the fact that it's a quirky thematic choice. You plant plants on your lawn and a lawn mower just makes sense as a funny way of building on the fact that you're using a home-grown garden of sentient plants to kill zombies. As for the rest of your complaints, I legitimately believe that the lack of quality comes from the fact that it's not a fully fleshed out world, so the quality doesn't matter. If it was a complete world, it should have better music, level design, and lawn texture, but again, no one is there for the gameplay. They're there for the rewards, and doing 10 basic levels is better than just being handed them out of nowhere.

    In my opinion, I doubt PopCap could make a Roman world actually good. But I have faith that modders could make a good Roman world.

    don't worry about slow upload rate it just means or at least implies the expectation that the video is higher quality like look at john tron uploads once a year at best and his content never gets old.
