I always liked how all the gods in this movie are three times the size of a regular human despite being in their human forms.
Hollyweed's logic lmao. Same with Clash of Titans and Percy Jackson jajaja
I DOES look good tho.
Makes perfect sense. Look at old egyptian reliefs. Gods are always taller than humans.
It fits. Gods aren't human, so they shouldn't be as short as humans.
in age of mythology only titans are big.
Chadwick Boseman was incredibly wise to keep the end of his journey private. His life’s work isn’t overshadowed by his affliction. Chadwick is eternal, I wish him continued peace. Anyone who has met death successfully has my respect, They have completed a task that I’m afraid of.
As a cancer survivor, I agree 100%.
When I went through chemo and radiation I sorta wish my whole family and circle of friends hadn't been told. While I appreciate the outpouring of support I was overwhelmed immensely. Everyone has good intentions However.
People want to press their opinions on treatment, doctors, surgery, medicine, hospitals, nutrition, witch doctors, shamans, essential oils, sacrifice of a chicken, repentance etc.
Your journey through cancer treatment should be your own. Chadwick was presented on a world stage that was already invasive and excessively probing. Who knows how the public at large would have reacted to such news. I'm glad he kept things private and obscured. At least he had some peace before passing into the next life.

I take it you wanted them to solve the riddle half the movie's runtime??
Thought the Sphinx was female.
That's Greek mythology my dude
Greek Sphinx is
Egypt isn't
This myth is Greek.
The Sphinx is feminine, the one in Egypt and in Greek mythology.
The Sphinx in Egypt has a male human head, the one in Greek mythology has a female human head. Neither of them are referred to by pronouns but it has been confirmed Egypt's Sphinx is based on either Pharaoh Chephren or Pharaoh Khafra, both of whom are men. In Greece, the Sphinx's Grecian name literally translates to "the dreaded female Sphinx".
Most people may not like this movie. But you can't deny. The cast is top notch!
Ehhh they couldn’t cast a all black cast, just for a little more realistic perspective ☝🏽
But your completely right, the casting for this per roles was spot on to the core actor that played the role. Cinematically Genius
@@jazzwilliams2955 naw they should’ve cast Egyptian actors. That more accurate
Most ppl didnt like it bcs the plot sucks even though it has its moments
The rest is complaining about the cast... Which is mostly westerner with full european accent
This is actually pretty good. Many riddles can have multiple fitting answers, yet only one is considered "correct".
And what is even more infuriating, school tests are often the same way. You may know the subject inside and out, but you will never guess the correct answer, unless you studied the material that was given to you in class. Not learning, but indoctrination.
wtf the material isn't going to change from professor to professor, the way it is applied and the importance that is given to each subject is what changes, but you can't learn maths wrong because of indoctrination, theres only one way to understand it, you can't try and make your students get it wrong on purpose without them noticing, same for language studies, any kind of science, maybe history is where a bit of personal view of the professor comes into play but it's still the same material given.
if you're being lazy and aren't paying attention in class, and then study 2 days before the test on youtube, where they show a different way to solve then your professors, then tought luck, you deserve the bad grade for not paying attention, theres thousands of ways to solve problems, your professor is in charge of showing you what he deems the best way, but if youd like you can try and learn the more dificult way on youtube that has absolutely no advantage what so ever.
You are just stupid and thinks that way to justify you failing the test
Yeah i agree. Its why i like maths and science. They’re the least skillcapped (as i call it) subjects. The more you learn, the more you know, the more you get. Its also why i dislike language and social studies. They’re skillcapped, meaning no matter how much you learn, youll never get a perfect score. You will get one of the questions wrong.
The replies to your comment actually proves your point. The “indoctrinated” can not think outside the “Box” they’ve been assigned. I under you and I understand why you’d sound crazy to some. It’s an interesting world
many people with amazing grades who studied hard share the same opinion
Am i the only one who has never gotten one riddle right in their life ? Unless of course it's a common one that i know of .

@kobe mallonmarsh human
@kobe mallonmarsh In that case, it's probably a coffin... If the elder represents the end of day, He must be dead for ages comes sunrise.
I consider myself a very intelligent person for my age and for some reason whenever I encounter a riddle, it feels like my brain shuts down and can't solve it no matter how much I try
The interesting part about riddles is that they can multiple answers, the trick is guessing the expected answer of the person asking the riddle (and i the case of a jerk, no answer you give will be correct or they will let you guess most of the possible answers but cut you off before you get the chance to say the final option. Just so they can feel superior)
In short Riddles are the domain of jerks and that's why most people avoid them by default ^-^
This movie is like Greece and Egypt had a child ... The literally combined the two mythologies.
i would have just said "youre the sphinx" since he asked "what am i?"
"Find x.
Mediocre answer bruh
Technically, the Sphinx is still free to eat them, they failed to answer the riddle correctly, just because they eventually managed to scramble onto the right answer while the execution was in session doesn’t mean they didn’t get it wrong the first time.
the challenge was to salve the riddle the sphinx never said they had to do it on the first try.
I think the only reason no else ever managed to get it right eventually is because the sphinx killed them first
Imagine if the sphinx said "what is your favourite colour" instead of the actual riddle

The sphinx is old as dirt 😳
I think thoth here was more of a god of knowledge than wisdom
Depends. Seeing as his brain is what makes him a God in this movie, I'd say the understanding of wisdom comes from knowledge here. I don't know what the Egyptian's take on wisdom was back in the days, but the Greek reached a stage where they thought that wisdom could not be achieved. They became friends of wisdom, philosophers. Greek philos=friend and sophos=wise. Literally, philosophos=friend of wisdom. As the Greek traded with Egypt, both resources as well as knowlegde and philosophies, that might be similiar here. Wisdom can be achieved by Gods, and Toth in particular, but the brain is the best way of showing it. Maybe.
