What’s telling to me is that Ra doesn’t actually die, just goes into a sort of recovery sleep in the “waters” that are not his….which also hold the thing that wants to “devour” his creation.
(Also, that despite his “power-up” Set is still ignorant of what he doesn’t know and understand, which means there are still secrets and powers he doesn’t, and perhaps will not or cannot ever have. 🤷🏾♂️)
But a great film in true 60s epic fashion but made in the early 2000s (when films were still great) --- what a surprise the critics hated it.

I miss the older days when you always got to see the boobs of the main heroine of an action flick...We don't get that much anymore and no wonder not many movies do well anymore. They know what we want in shows and movies(I don't just mean boobs)but they won't give it to us. They just keep putting out garbage. Like Disney has billions and billions and now only 5-10% of their product is actually well received by the audience at large.

Lamest? His white clothes had no scratch after Set melting the boat beneath RA, while Set's armor was on fire after RA's flame. Ra wanted this, he put this world and other gods and mortals to test. They passed.
