Psychiatrists are insane.
I was on antipsychotics and a bunch of other psychiatric drugs.Every time i asked the doctors if i could taper down to quit, they always rejected my question. "Better keep taking it just to be safe, it's too early etc". Eventually i was able to quit them on my own, it was hell but i made it through. And i'm doing much better now than when i was on them. Not one doctor or other person bothered to tell me about the severe side effects, or how horrible the withdrawals are from these drugs. The truth is that they're clueless about it. It makes me angry just thinking about it.
They should only be used during acute phases. And tapered down as soon as possible. There will be cases where people with very severe mental health problems would be better off taking them for more extended periods or even life. But i'd say more than 75% of the patients I've met would be better off without them. Instead They're being prescribed more and more drugs, mostly to counteract the side effects of the other drugs. It's fucking ridiculous how these "professional" people operate.
Yup; so much easier 2 medic8 than communic8. BTW; psych meds r simply "chemical pacifiers" (i.e.: designed 2 silence u when getting abused, bullied, & harassed by other people (especially those deemed as "authority figures").
It's so annoying that in 2023 we still don't have anything better to offer people than antipsychotics with their horrendous side-effects
It's not a side effect, it's the main effect to disable people.
See the Doctor Kiltz article, "The Carnivore Diet for Depression", incl. the studies mentioned. Another page there links to a French Keto study, of severe cases, where half of the participants came off their psych meds afterward.

True, but the term "side effects" is a marketing term meant to minimize THE OTHER EFFECTS of the drug, AS IF "UNINTENDED." SIDE EFFECTS = KNOWN EFFECTS.
This means if death is one on a list of "side effects," or other serious harm, you should know you are making a trade-off with risks.

What’s really bad now is they are pushing these antipsychotics for anxiety. I reluctantly agreed to try it, one tablet gave me dizziness, trouble swallowing, shortness of breath, and palpitations. I’m not taking it anymore.
@ruben silva Aww I’m so sorry to hear that! No, after one pill I never took it again, the psychiatric NP was so disappointed that I wouldn’t take it! Makes me think it’s all connected to big Pharma! God bless you!

Shockingly, psychiatrists seem to ignore data validity. All the psychiatrists in my area rely almost exclusively on treatment with antipsychotics, giving them to adults even
for sleep problems, etc., dismissing their dangers.

@@stevekaylor5606 My female boss (orthopedic surgeon) told me to go to a psychiatrist because of my underbite. She thought that I am mentally retarded. My family doctor told me not to go to a psychiatrist. I did not listen. I went. He diagnosed me with a bipolar disorder and prescribed me antipsychotics that almost killed me. Then the state of NJ put me on forced treatment. they tried to take my child away from me. Heaven for them hell for me. They put me $20,000 in debt. They did not fix my teeth though.

They are also too hubristic to think about the menticide they are causing! {James Davies, Peter Breggin and the CCHR are all very clear on this.}

Let me tell you, folks, psychedelics, they're something else, okay? They're like the cavalry riding in to save the day. You take 'em, and boom, those crazy thoughts, they just disappear. Rational thought comes from a fully functioning brain. I as a diagnosed "schizophrenic" do not take drugs. Does the psychiatrist and the family fear the future, fear the future actions of a schizophrenic? Yes they do. To drug the schizophrenic in the present, to prevent the possible bad future is not medicine or justifiable.

People with Schizophrenia are not more likly to commit hommicide.
People with schizophrenia that commit hommicide have other problems.
Like drug's and alcohol abuse.
Being raised around violence.
As well as antisocial personality disorder.
But suicide and schizophrenia have a huge link.
hey there. that made me so sad to read, your last sentence. but it is true. because I don`t know about you, but being on medications is the worst for me, so I "have" to stay off even though psychiatrist (but gladfully only these) want me on them. And even though they know nothing about me, but only see symptoms and a disease.
The link is likely due to antipsychotics, statistics show that the suicide rate for schizophrenics used to be much lower. 40% of crimes are committed by drunk people, yet it would be unspeakable to limit their freedom to life in any way.

For some reason, I'm not able to edit, so i add that Chinese medicine causes NO HARM and can also be very effective and helpful for some things Big Pharma's narrative would likely dismiss.
Chinese medicine does a lot of harm to rare animals.
Perhaps Chinese treatments do not cause Disassociation!

to read the results and conclusions of the studies.
We (the people with mental illnes ) pay a high price. Because we have to take the meds. they bring hurendous side effect. The biggest one for me is not being able to stay motivated. Or even to start a task to begin with. Anti psycotics when being used properly block. 80/90 procent of the dopamine D2 receptor also serotonine. This causes the patient to feel depressed as to being not motivated.

My son was forsed today to take meds for psychosis help any advise hes had several motorcycle accidents and has been delusional for a while he did choose to take meds

You asked "How about chronic psychotic illnesses?" how do you distinguish being/thinking "psychotic" from being/thinking stupid? Some people are just plain stupid and are given the diagnosis of "psychotic". Stupid people might need to be controlled and how do you control them? You can't use (visible) ropes and chains today, it has to be invisible. Children who are supposed to learn to control themselves as they grow and mature are instead getting drugs today for their "mental illness". What will happen to them when they become adults? I predict there will not be enough qualified watchers to watch over the "mentally ill".

@@bhaskartaneja6293 Try finding a functional medicine doctor. They will help you taper and check to see if you have nutrient deficiencies that can and do present as psychiatric issues, when they may not be.

The first mistake is believing someone who wants me to take antipsychotics actually cares about me.
The reason why patients do better off anti-psychotics is not because anti-psychotics aren't useful. I believe they have some use in some cases. In *REAL* cases. But more than likely, many of these people never had a problem severe enough to warrant drug intervention.
The problem is without drug intervention, the psychiatrist is left without a job. He does not have the same in-depth training in psychology that a PhD in psychology has. Indeed he may not even have the same level of training that an MS in Psychology has. He may not have the same level of training as a BS in Psychology has. So are you going to give up your $200,000 - $400,000 income when your daily job is to listen for 5 - 15 min and write a script for the latest anti-psychotic?
It all comes down to money. The pharmaceutical company controls our systems. Big pharma. They have more control then our government the amount of lobbyists. Pharmaceutical companies pay our psychiatrist to prescribe their drugs . Money or the love of money is the root of all evil. I work in a psychiatric hospital when meds don’t work we rely on ECT which for some people does miracles. Some patients meds make them worse. The sad things is we use these in trauma children to control behavioral problems

Was he bashing the president? He was taking a joke. His critics used the president's name as an insult. The thing I've always feared was people of a certain belief system being labeled schizophrenic. Will a person stop believing in communism if they are given anti-psychotics? [He's not a doctor; he's investigative journalist.]
