Hey, thanks for the video. However, I loaded up the game and I am not able to use my mouse in the menus or in the actual game. Do you know a fix?
Anyone else have trouble installing WAR? I followed the steps but it's been 20 minutes now and it's still installing.
At the hour mark now and it still hasn't installed lol. I followed exactly what you said but it isn't working. But I will say everything else is working perfectly. Your guide is awesome. I'm learning alot.
Help. I didn't get the installer menu for war. What did I do wrong?
only use 7zip to create the archive.
When I try to install the WAR.7z file in Mod Manager it says that certain things couldn't be extracted and that the file "doesn't exist in FOMod." Help would be appreciated!

when i install project nevada patches, i get 2 separate mods instead of only 1. it doesnt give me the option to merge them. will it still work??
they need to be the same name
if anyone is getting that FOMOD error for WAR just do all the WAR steps while antivirus is turned off or do it in a file that has an antivirus exception :D
PS: i shouldve probably done this with all my mods but it seems fine for now (will be disabling antivirus during future modding)
every time i try to install the archived WAR folder i get an error code. followed every step but for some reason its not working. anyone else have this problem?
figured it out. I uninstalled bitdefender and it worked!
I had the same problem. Just try instead of archiving it as a rar try to archive it as zip and install it.
@flappymcbobkoe35 haha well that may have been my problem too but luckily i unistalled bitdcefender far earlier than installing this mod because it was slowing down my pc as hell

You should have more subscribers, I think its how your titles are labbled you should name this series something like FALLOUT New Vegas Max Graphics + Mods (something someone looks up, atleast that's what I did until I realized NMM sucks so I wanted to know how to use Mod Organizer)

My game now gives me an ingame warning "You are running atleast one of the Project Nevada DLC patches. Please deactivate them in the place of Project Nevada - All DLC patch." I thought i double checked every step I made. Can you tell me what i have done and how to fix that? I'm already at part 8a of your modding guide and I have no idea if i can continue or how to fix that"

Uninstall the PN Patches: DLC patch from here www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42363/?. This was already included in Project Nevada Extra options. Xuul explains this at ~4:00 minutes.

I have another question maybe you can give me a hint there aswell.
My problem is that when i do wear power armor and i activate night vision or heat vision (tested with t-45 power armor and t-51 power armor) neither does require energy cells or drain any energy to activate the vision. this really bothers me i want the armor to drain energy cells but i have no clue if im doing something wrong. in the PN extra options -> core -> vision modes : i set the vision drains to 6 : heat vision 4 but it doesnt drain anything - playing with those numbers didnt help you got any suggestions ? i couldnt find anything in the forum yet :)
it's possible to have this without the dlc ?

One question though - the CaliberX mod has changed since you created this video, and are now manual downloads only (looks like they've rolled back on the version as well). Do you still recommend downloading this, and if so, how should I go about setting it up in this format? I don't want to risk screwing it up and potentially having to start from scratch, so for now I've followed your instructions for the other mods on the video and skipped this one.
