Im exploring the idea of becoming a notary/ loan signing agent. I am curious to know if this path has been a successful one for you since you first pursued it or if you could share any thoughts on it?
I actually took marks course and I like it alot. One thing that gets expensive is the toner and paper, more signings I do the more paper and toner I use. But you dont have to start with the brother printer. I started with a $126 cannon single tray laser printer and it is a work horse!. But whoever you use to train remember you dont have to be great to get started but you have to get started to be great.
Agreeing with you now. Too much marketing. I have to call around. Biggest tip to anyone call title compnies, realtors, in YOUR area. Get a sense of your market and area before taking the course. You have to keep generating new business unless you are preferred or established directly. I just want to make back the cost of my printer, scanner, NNA membership, insurance at this point. I may train in Ed Tech to work remotely instead. Remote is biggest blessing as a mom.
Omg you saved me sooo much money, I was just about to purchase the loan signing system package or the nna package. Now I’m just going to do what you did. Got the notary 2 notary course for 50% off and the basic nna package- so everything came out to only $145. Thank you again!!!!!

While the LLS system may be more expensive compared to others. But you are getting all the insight, the way to do things correctly and minimize your learning curve, etc... In other words, you are paying for the experience, the support and help from so many, not just Mark. But hey, whatever route works for you and you are satisfied, that is what counts.
I took the Loan Signing System and could not be more satisfied. I recouped my investment for the course and all the equipment in the first year. It is a worthwhile investment in my opinion. It also has demos that will help you give better presentations. Everything you had questions about is discussed thoroughly in the course.

Yes once you complete the background screening and it clears and you pass the exam you are NNA certified. In order for you take complete the loan signing exam you have to be Commissioned Notary. So yes girl you are NNA certified! Congrats. I’m still waiting for my commission packet.waiting game is real

I appreciate that you're not one of the UA-camrs telling people that they don't need to invest in training for loan signing lol. I also purchased the NNA basic package and Notary 2 Notary loan signing course. I'm in the process of completing the loan signing course right now. In the meantime I'm doing general notary work which helps alot. I'm learning so much in the loan signing course that if I didn't buy and take training I would've definitely messed up bad lol. Yes! Most of what we need to learn is all on the field when we go out and DO the work! It’s easier than it sounds sometimes. I don’t understand why anyone would pay hundreds to learn this business. But I’m glad you’re getting the hang of it and saving money too lol Much success to you!!

Yes I started off with NNA and they pretty much set the standards and provide any and all needed docs. They also provide docs (bills of sales, all notary docs etc.)for FREE for members that you can download and make copies. But for me, I've been struggling with getting consistent business, so that's something I'm striving to improve.
I previously took a $25 class for my state license and it was very basic and knew I was not going to pass the state exam and decided to take the Eznotary class and it's so helpful, thank you for suggesting it!
Hi Naomi! Wow that really sucks :\ but yeah take the EZNOTARY class, its really easy to comprehend the material. You will finish the class and understand what your jobs is as a Notary! Then get the Notary2Notary class, she explains loan documents and where to sign.

So- it is my understanding that we purchase the basic notary course through NNA which is something like $145, then notary2notary: notary signing agent training for about $289- does this sound correct? Completely agree with your statement about over charging for sharing your knowledge. I just google and learn on my own because some of them charge over 400 for a course. Its great to share and make a profit from sharing your knowledge but be reasonable.

Hi! Yes it’s for two different things. The first background check is ran by the state and you don’t get a copy of it. The one you do with the NNA gives you a copy that you then save and upload when required by a client or signing service.

I didn’t have a storefront office space or anything so I didn’t need licenses or permits. This is home based and didn’t require for me to have separate licenses but check within your city council or county office to make sure

The training you shared on Notary to Notary is now $189 for the loan signing agent. It’s still $99 basic for background check here in Texas and the next package is $219 for the background check and all the other info you provide so in 2024 it’s cheaper to actually get the $219 packed from the NNA instead of getting the NNA basic for $99 plus Vanessa packed for $189🤷🏾♀️ I’m broke and need to make this money make since 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 help me out sis Adi😢😢😢😢😢

As far as the course, I had been lead to a Blueprint course. Costs is $499. It’s Notary2Notary the same course? I am new to this so sorry if a silly question.😊
Every loan signing course will be different but don’t think you need to get the pricey one to get a good training. The EZNOTARYCLASS and Notary2Notary are under $150-200
You videos are very informative and I'm also in CA. The sowl links for the pdf's are not working. I'm also glad your in CA because I have been looking for a CA Notary and NSA channel.
The only thing im nervous about is the background check. I have a couple driving things and got charged with something fhat was not mine but bc it was in my car when inwas giving someone a ride and her BF had a warrant they were literally watching him i had NO CLUE i got caught up in their mess and screwed they wouldnt tell them it was theirs so i got charged. Never again i dont ride anyone in my vehicle
That’s a good question, I’m not sure I even know where to find information on that. All I can say is to use the notary handbook for your state to see what the background check requirements are

I started two years ago but never finish the LSS. Now i'm back into it. I just dont know what to start first.
I think LSS is good is if you have already started, just start from the top of the course it’s okay take it step by step 👍

So I had a salon suite business and my question to you is what type of llc? Is this a home business? Do I need a separate operator business license? Please let me know I’m in Montgomery county Maryland
I didn’t have a storefront office space or anything so I didn’t need licenses or permits. This is home based and didn’t require for me to have separate licenses but check within your city council or county office to make sure

The training you shared on Notary to Notary is now $189 for the loan signing agent. It’s still $99 basic for background check here in Texas and the next package is $219 for the background check and all the other info you provide so in 2024 it’s cheaper to actually get the $219 packed from the NNA instead of getting the NNA basic for $99 plus Vanessa packed for $189🤷🏾♀️ I’m broke and need to make this money make since 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 help me out sis Adi😢😢😢😢😢
Go with EZnotaryclass.com and they have much more affordable and easy to understand courses
If it helps, just start with doing general notary work. No one asks you for Signing Agent certification or background checks

As far as the course, I had been lead to a Blueprint course. Costs is $499. It’s Notary2Notary the same course? I am new to this so sorry if a silly question.😊
I didn’t take that course and I don’t have any knowledge of it BUT I did take Notary2Notary and EZNOTARYCLASS for loan signing training!
Every loan signing course will be different but don’t think you need to get the pricey one to get a good training. The EZNOTARYCLASS and Notary2Notary are under $150-200
I took that one expensive course only to be confused 😐 the ones that taught me the most were Notary2Notary and EZNotaryclass

The only thing im nervous about is the background check. I have a couple driving things and got charged with something fhat was not mine but bc it was in my car when inwas giving someone a ride and her BF had a warrant they were literally watching him i had NO CLUE i got caught up in their mess and screwed they wouldnt tell them it was theirs so i got charged. Never again i dont ride anyone in my vehicle
That’s a good question, I’m not sure I even know where to find information on that. All I can say is to use the notary handbook for your state to see what the background check requirements are
