My 3T22 is operated on 240 volt 3-phase. So to answer your question derek wall, it cannot operate on normal household electricity. You will need a phase converter, or real line 3-phase if you are lucky. However FS did make single phase models, but require power directly from the load center in your house.

CHARL LISTEN UP hi lo attack don’t exist it can’t go hi lo when winding down why u ask? That's because the only 3t22s that can do proper alternate wail were the very early ones that had an agastat for the solenoids so the flasher would continue to operate during the wind down. Those where the ones with the GE motor. Newer 3t22s lack an agastat so in order to get alternate wail you will need to do some rewiring. In order for you to get alternate wail on an older 3t22 with a flasher you will need to get the siren to sound hi lo wail. Then you must increase the time on the agastat so the flasher will continue to run up to the point where the siren ramps back up. Here is an example an agastat in operation:ua-cam.com/video/wweclvXTMQE/v-deo.html
The gaming tiger Toy Edan Bartley Hi-Lo attack isn’t alternate wail. It’s a windup in hi-low, then a wind down with both solenoids open, repeating. It’s like running it in High-Low then turning it off at max RPM then repeating

I always loved hearing the high/low sound the 3T22 makes. Such a melodic sound. Stupid ? For anyone to answer, which solenoid produces the high/low sound? Is it the top solenoid?
Both. The top solenoid opens and closes the top damper and the bottom solenoid opens and closes the bottom damper, which allows you to hear the top and bottom chopper individually which creates the "hi-low" sound.
0:00: alert/steady/all clear (check the radios or its all clear and safe) 1:31: attack/wail (take cover) 2:48: hi lo attack/alternate wail (fire call) 4:20 pulse attack (can someone tell me what pulse means?)
Pulse means that it pulses so when it makes this rare tone both the shutters open and close at the same time it’s kinda hard to explain you should be able to look it up
@@toybartley3528 well in my town there are tones used for different things and some sirens with the same town that signal different things so it rlly matters where you are at but it’s a rare tone
There one of these by my old house that goes for 5 minutes for the statewide tornado drill It’s in crystal Minnesota in between the Rockford road library and the crystal fire station, there are lots of videos of it on UA-cam
i live in Howard South Dakota, but if you want to see the siren its been taken down. and now this town just depends on 1 siren for fire calls and tornado warnings. and its a lousy ass federal signal 2001SRN-B
+Derek Wall No it won't, however if it is single phase you may struggle as it takes a lot of amps but on three phase like this one it definitely won't work on household power.
@@RockProductionsYT let's not talk about how you threatened all of us with hacking and exploiting our games and the fact you made multiple false accusations and needless drama. I, along with my friends, are respected by the community, and would never harm another siren enthusiast. You faked a suicide, remember? Stop painting yourself as the victim and spreading lies and misinformation about us. And also, nobody has ever wanted to go to your house and assault you, let alone even meet you in person. I for sure don't want to do that. You also, multiple times, made models of me engaging in... ominous... for a lack of a better word, activities with tornado siren parts. Christian Garcia the motor us not cooled by the air in the choppers. it's got a estimated 15 minute run time with a half hour cool down period. so the "fire" signals won't hurt the motor

okay thanks andy. i was able to find a manual for the 3T22 and download it.
After it's already been all these years, do you still own this wonderful masterpiece?

Alternate wail sounds amazing! Great job on the restoration
Alternative wail is a rare signal
How
That’s not alternate wail. It’s High-Low Attack which is a separate signal. Federal Signal thunderbolt 1003 manuals confirm this

3:22 Hiccup 3T22 XD
I like pulse and hi-lo
I thought the pulse signal would be used for a nuclear meltdown.
It is used for warning of nuclear fallout, so you’re not entirely incorrect.
my uncles volunteer fire department also had one of these too and she would also go off in hi lo signal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lisainvenice11 cause hi lo is fire

Something's not right with the high low stuck damper perhaps it also hiccups at 3:22
We have one of these at my school to warn of gas attack or nuclear meltdown it doesn't have horns though
This should be illegal lol imagine walking down the road and hearing this and it turns out to be fake... I’d be scared shitless anyhow.

so pulse puts no damage to the motor?
No
