the vibration and close up to the high tone makes it sound like a CLM! with the low tone clearly almost sounds quiet like similar to the 4 port Stator CLM
@@andyt1424 That explains how you were able to run it so well straight off of a switch originally meant for things like heavy duty motors for running farming equipment. Which makes sense because that's basically all it takes to run a 3T22 motor. And with all those acres you got you can basically get a small pole for it, set up it's controls and just run it straight off of the electrical power on your property! However I'm not sure how far you can legally go without a license to run those things. Unless you don't need one? (depending on how often it's ran)
Jeez is that thing healthy. I read in a previous comment that you had ear plugs on, how did it sound when you where less than a foot away from the unit itself? I guess what I am trying to ask is, did it hurt at all lol
Literally as loud as sitting under an afterburning jet engine at military power or max power without afterburner. If he had no ear protection at all, his eardrums would’ve ruptured lmao
@@scarshorror4075 Sadly, you can get deaf from them roaring so loud for too long without ear protection. Some can be up to 140 DB which is as loud as a Jet Engine.
@@littleexperience2.._._._._._..Well 140dB is right next to a jet engine at full power. Some sirens like the Thunderbolt, P-15, P-10, and Allertor are over 150dB up close. At SirenCon, Frankie’s P-10 registered 163dB right next to it when it faced the dB meter. Anything that loud will instantly rupture your eardrums without hearing protection
+Mr.Someone Well, they're only made for the U.S.A. due to their "Civil-Defense" Yellow colo(u)r, Carter Sirens are made only in the U.K. I'm sure they have simiar technology like us here in the United States of America.
Them things are loud enough on the pole! Sticking the camera into the horn during spindown, Impressive!
You don't see 3T22s mounted on a wagon very much

You've got a really good mic
It sounds like a CLM! because of the weak low tone. By anychance was the 3t22 running faster than normal. like 50 rpm faster?
Nope. 60 Hz.
The O. G. 10/12 port siren: Carter.
This dude is just like me get very close to blaring* air rade siren
How long did it take for you everything to get Iris running
What do you use that for 🤔
How could you stand so close???

150+dB he heard when checking the voltage and about 145 dB from a meter away.
Just remember I did have ear plugs on. I wouldn't run it without ear plugs on. That would be stupid.
@@andyt1424 Yeah true i just wanted to point those out.
