I enjoyed the video .That 3t22 sounds a higher pitch than a normal 3t22. I like how those sirens that were sounding would harmonize with the 3t22 and each other.
Why did they have to wire the solenoids to the motor? That's what causes the dampers to engage each time the siren's activated! But when that happens, the siren doesn't sound as loud as it should be so this really needs to be fixed!
The dampers close upon activation, so the rotors don't pull a whole lot of air. No air in the rotors mean the motor has almost no load, so it can take off like a rocket when that motor contacter closes.
And it has a repulsion-start induction-run motor that is stuck in Repulsion mode. Sticking in Repulsion mode will cause the motor to act like a universal motor(the motor used on Thunderbolt siren heads) and spin very fast.
stormblade123hsm I don't know how much you know about sirens, but the motors on Single-Phase Federal sirens are run in the usual way. The only reason this motor is spinning so fast is because it has nearly no load on it.
i think i heard another 3T22 or two with dampers closing upon activation also why do both dampers close upan activation and so why are they still so loud evan tho there intake is cut off?
