Actually from interesting example, a Luhya from Kakamega, Kenya can interact so well with a Mrundi. With a few difficult words but they will converse 70 %
Just wondering if Kirindi has more similar words than your Ugandan cousins.. Banyole, Bagweere, Bagishu. Basamya...? Hope u have done one research on it, will be happy to watch that sister
Muri abagenzi ( you are the friends) , muri abantu beza ( you are good people), muri abana beza , it is exactly the same ..... Urakoze cane( thank you very much)

My dear Am From Burundi,,, Maga City, I Agree with your words... in the bgn Kenya was in Burundi
I am a South African. I enjoyed your video, comparing the Zulu- Luya languages.... similarities. I also accepted your disclaimer that you are not a linguistics specialist or researcher. There are 11 official languages in Mzansi(12 sign language) however the 9 out of 12 have some similar or near similar words/ terms.... because they fall under * Bantu* languages ❤

You asked for an example on She is/ He is?
He is in the house= Ari munzu (kirundi), simply the only difference from luhya is that we don't use l in kirundi, it remains r
I can say that you tried your best because kirundi is somehow difficult to new learners.

😂😂😂😂 It could be better if you invite a Burundian to share with... You have tried ... Big up
Kuba can also be said as "Kuba" (the state of being)
I will say that KiLuya is a combination of Luganda + Kirundi
You made something great
In Kirundi we don't have "L" we use R in everything, so we say "uri" not "uli".
I live in Zimbabwe and listening to your language i would like to hear you compare to Zimbabwe's Shona language, i think there are a lot of similarities, i first noted it in one of your videos you call a dog 'imbwa' thats exactly what they call it in Shona

Point of correction: In Kirundi, we don't have this letter "L" in our alphabet. So, instead of "ULI", it should be "URI".
you suprise me because,There are many othrer words wich yu promise now in luhya language which are the same at kirundi language.
"To be" in Kikuyu is the same. I am a Kikuyu speaker and what intrigues me is that I can tune in to radio Rwanda without the need for translation.
