Woolacombe is about a 20 minute ride from me and I work minutes away from that fuel station. In fact you fueled at my usual pump. I really appreciate where I live. I just got back from a ride to Woolacombe and came through Croyde on my way home. You must be slightly jealous because I'm actually getting a c90 soon just for the country lanes. Great video
Had bikes through my teens and twenties but then life intervene different ways....now 52 and had not thought about biking until finding this channel recently...now my mind is drifting back and loved the recent videos of the Mutt especially...now stuck in the purgatory of 'I it's too long since I last rode' and 'I need some joy back in my life'!! Damn you Freddie Dobbs!! But irrespective, absolutely love this channel!! 👍🏻👍🏻
I actually felt sorry for Freddie when he said Monica got extremely angry with him for booking too budget of accommodations !!!! LOL! Go easy on the guy Monica !!!
Thank you! I've just had to prepare Monika with the news that we don't have a cabin for the 38 hour Spain to Tenerife ferry, so this comment will soften the blow!😆
Just getting back into biking after 28 yrs (68yrs old)and so binging on bike videos, onherbike, itchyboots, and now slowly working my way through your wonderful videos, but how great to Monica on the bike okay only her shadow but a really nice shot. Really enjoying plowing my way through these videos and an inspiration to get out on the bike. If you ever make it to northern Sweden give us a shout always find a bed for you both.
Lovely stuff. I've only ever passed through Devon to get to Cornwall, so I must go back and explore Devon. It looks every bit as beautiful as Cornwall.
Sir fred of dobbs and lady monaca thank thank thank you fabtastic vidio again great camra work and a happy vibe cant wait for next one as good as isle wright vid stay happy and safe
Brilliant vlog, brings back happy holiday memories of going there when I was younger with my parents. Your videos are the perfect remedy for being homesick, three years since we’ve been able to visit home😷 so thank you Freddie and Monika 🇦🇺👍🏼
RTPs have lower gearing for town riding. As well as the panniers being slimmer, they are top-openi g and can be accessed from the saddle. They're also mounted further forward for better weight distribution. I run a 2011 oil-cooled twin-cam - a bit lighter than Barney. Boxers use a bit more oil; typically 100ml/1000 miles. Great video! 👍
Loved this video! I actually live in ilfracombe. 10 mins from woolacombe. It’s my favourite beach. So blessed to live in north Devon. Been watching your videos Freddie and they are great and helpful. I’m thinking about doing my CBT and saving up to buying a mutt mongrel 125. My wife isn’t keen for me to learn though. Thanks your all the tips. Keep up the good content.
Thanks Freddie, great video and bought back some lovely memories of a holiday to North Devon many moons ago, we did that journey in the dark, no street lighting all the way from South to North, through countryside in pitch black, we got there eventually in one piece though before the days of sat navs and with an old fashioned map! Enjoy the rest of your stay, looking forward to the next vid :)
Well much as a campervan is awsome a bike yu can stop anywhere I've toured devon cornwall on bike and would not like to do it in 4wheels..atb superb vid
Lovely video, brings back memories of when I was your age, back in the nineties I had a Suzuki intruder 800 that would ride to the beach with my girlfriend. BTW every time I see you I think of actor Paul Bettani.Cheers from Brazil.
Down in our neck of the woods. Its interesting to see how impressed people are by whats around here, i guess we take it for granted when we can go ride devon and cornwall every weekend, but instead we fly and hire in other countries! We will try and focus our videos on Devon and cornwall rides this year to share with everyone the areas beauty. Cheers for the Video Freddie, Ride safe
Several places not included in this video. Morte Point is a great hike from the village of Morthoe. Rock promontory like the spine of a dragon points out to sea. Seals can be seen lounging on the rocks. Ilfracombe promenade and harbour definitely worth a visit. Wildersmouth Beach has a 10ft tide and provides the opportunity to get up close to rocks of the Devonian period. Just outside of Lynton is the Valley Of The Rocks. Most stunning coastal cliff path I've yet seen. And plenty of goats. The Pack Of Cards Inn in Coombe Martin is an interesting pub. Lymouth beach is the result of past flash flooding down the valleys. Lynton down to Lynmouth is super steep. Lots of other places worth visiting along that coastline. But can be expensive and parking difficult during busy times. When I drove back on a bank holiday I passed a 40 mile queue of traffic across Devon and Dorset.
Thanks Freddie & Monika,i enjoyed watching another fab interesting vlog, glad you both caught some good weather aswell, was in Torquay a few months ago for one day & the sea was a stunning turquoise like you found it,happy riding👍🙂
Hi , nice guest house ,a bargain at the price for the time of the year . Monika and Grommet on the combo , a little wide for filtering in London . Magic video and a story told and did Suzie make up her mind ? . Ride and stay safe .
Loved as ever Freddie & Monika 👍 i used to holiday there when i was 7 and remember sitting on the armrest in the middle of the front seats back then as the car was full. Lovely area and keep up the fab work you two. Looking forward to your Tenerife stay! 🙏
Dartmoor is great on the bike. Devon I hate to say it looks fairly quiet. Cornwall is really busy this summer and quite a dangerous place to be on a bike at the moment. Be good to see you in the better county or Cornwall.
Crackin video....triumph has character but, you pair are far beyond that. You need to tour round beauty spots on hd V twin..... Will make the superb unbeatable 😉🥂
Really I have just got the Benelli and you are single handedly making me wish for a flippin triumph...and it might just happen! Lovely tour as always, look forward to episode 2!

Just found your channel Freddie and loving the content. Fellow Bonnie owner but found your channel looking for reviews on Mutts as my son is looking for a 125. Love Devon. Spent many a happy holiday in Exmouth as a child.
We have a motorhome for our travels. Garage in the rear to put the motorcycle indoors. Take your hotel with you, unload the bike and we’re off! You’d love it.😊👍
Hi Freddie - just came across your channel with your Bike Shed vlog - your editing is top notch and style of vlogging is really great entertainment, and as someone who lives in Cornwall North Devon really is biking Navarna!
