Hit & Run for $1 is unreal! Never played either of those on PS2 still waiting to find them in the wild. Love TY tho really fun the PS2 has some quality platformers
Aww man, that Movie Gallery VHS brought back many memories. I worked at my local Movie Gallery up here in Maine, from 2001-2007. Favorite job i've ever had.
Would be nice to see a road trip with you guys and maybe other youtube-rs, traveling, camping retro style and visiting pawnshops, flea markets and goodwill. 90s music car radio to Tx. Maybe bring the expert Tendo with you guys
I would check your local retro store to see if they will refinish bad discs. My local store only charges 2 bucks and they do a great job on even the most scratched games.
sounds awesone I remember as a kid going through Blockbuster and Hollywood Video and loving seeing the horror sections all the good and cool looking covers.
The sixth sense scared me as a kid my mom loved it I would always try to watch it ended up listen to it under a blanket countless times. Still never actually watched it.
I love watching old commercials talk about a time machine just about as close you can get. Rick you didn't say anything about the Titanic VHS. Usually one of those everywhere you go!
Don't feel bad about not being country. At least fishing can be done by just about anyone. So relaxing just to sit on a shoreline, feeling the breeze, maybe catch a few.
Yo Rick! I’m a 90’s kid too. Matchbox and GooGoo Dolls, Third Eye Blind… top 3 favourite 90’s bands… I actually thrifted an autographed tour book framed at a Salvation Army with the Goo Goo dolls on it! Was so pumped!
My favorite 90s bands were Soundgarden, nirvana, stone temple pilots, green day. Red hot chili peppers foo fighters and pearl jam, and third eye blind! Lifehouse is good to so thanks for playing hanging by a moment in this video, good song. I still listen all of these bands today! And in case you didn't know, that was WWE hall of famer hacksaw Jim duggan in the movie gallery clip! Great finds Rick and chuck, especially the $1 games! Linkin Park is awesome too , they're another one of my favorites!
There’s actually a story behind hit & run. That’s quite funny. During the development of the game they weren’t sure how. Fox would react to attacking people in the game. They gave the controller to the creator. As soon as they gave him the controller he discovered that there was an attack button. First thing he did was go up to Marge. And repeatedly kicked her. Which he laughed at.
Hey, Rick. Favorite 90's bands: Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, The Smashing Pumpkins, Matchbox Twenty, and of course The Goo Goo Dolls (they're from Upstate NY too) Thanks for that tidbit about being from New York. I'm a longtime Brooklynite. I really appreciate your content and banter. I grew up collecting sports cards. My younger brother collected comics and was the big time gamer. The video game world has changed dramatically since I went to arcades in the 80's. Your collection and way of showcasing it is fantastic. Take care, bro.
Nine Inch Nails and Rage Against the Machine are still my top bands. And you’re right about Candlebox not being talked about much, definitely an underrated band that are so good.
Hit & Run isn't $100 but it goes for $40-60! I just tried to replace mine and was surprised to see how much it climbed since last time I bought one. My husband just found me a copy TODAY for $15 and I was super excited to pay that lol
Hard to say favorite 90s music because there was a lot of good music then Pearl Jam, smashing pumpkins, Green Day, Alice in chains, Red Hot chilly peppers and so much more. The 90s was a great time for music
I live in Arkansas, if you are ever in Mena there are some decent games at the Mena Flea market, as well as a few vintage toys (TMNT) and there's a pawn shop at the last red light called lost treasures, they have a ton of games and toys also. The flea market is priced (still good deals) but the pawn shop (which is huge) is all 5 bucks a game and 3 bucks for toys. I got a 90s white ranger sword from there in package for 3 bucks, it was sweet.
*sees opening with Simpsons Hit and Run for $1* Literally one of the only two PS2 games I'm looking to reclaim (that and WWE SvR 06) and yeah, it's pricy. That's kinda painful.
just thought about it and i really dont listen to a lot of 90s bands (i'm more of a 60s-80s rock kinda guy) but i gotta say i really love weezer's 90s stuff, has the garage band sound i really like
stone temple pilots first album "core" in my mind is the best rock/grunge album from the 90's. literally was thinking "itd be cool if they found an stp album" before you mentioned them
The sixth sense lol I’m 32 today when that movie came out was maybe 7 it legit scared me to death. The only horror to ever do so. You know the scene Rick with the little girl in the wedding dress then the jump scare of her turning into a decrepit old lady right in front of her mom!! Bro straight petrified for life and scarred 😂😂😂
Rick, since you're into the dvd flipping some old nick toons like fairly odd parents are decent flips. I found a dvd with several other old nick toons for $1 & flipped for 15
bunker and gracia made a video game album in 1982 and it was released on record (45s the smaller ones) and cassette i've been trying to find those but there always way to many records to look thought
8:30 If you want to see a LOT of Nascar stuff, I could introduce you to my dad. He has been collecting since the 80's, and has enough Mark Martin stuff alone to fill up an entire basement. That doesn't even get into any other stuff, JUST MARK MARTIN!
Retro with another 🔥🔥 video drop. Always making the best out of every situation. Flea market didn’t have much but with the humor and great vibe always makes for a good watch. I appreciate you Retro. Always grinding.
