I also have a huge personal collection. So watching you guys on the hunt helps me when I can’t go out and do it myself. 🙌🏼
I picked up Bust A Move Bash a few months back at a local thrift near me for $4. Not much value in terms of resale, but it’s surprisingly fun, and super nostalgic for me from Bust A Move ‘99 back in the day! Definitely glad to have added it to my Wii collection. Was hoping you’d get that one!

Loved the Lazer tag lunch box brought me back to my childhood..I use to watch a show similar to it called photon it was laser tag style with red vs. Green and they sold the sets I had both green and red they had a helmet that was hooked to a chest piece then a gun you used to shot the laser beams.and get points against friends.
@@retrorick you tube it they had a Saturday morning TV show that was live action photon but Lazer tag had a cartoon. They were like competition for each other.
I know some of the reason has to do with Playstation post first release PS3 nothing was backwards compatible so you need the systems vs Xbox up until the Xbox X everything was backwards compatible. But it's still you never know until you scan it to go I don't know that titles but nothing in profit there.
I noticed you skipped out on Nascar Dirt to Daytona for ps2 at one of the booths. Its one of those sports/racing games that many people skip over but is surprisingly worth about $15. Just a heads up to look out for that game in the future if you didnt know about it already.
@@retrorick Dark Tower is CRAZY expensive now, so if you ever see it cheap (even in trashed condition) grab it. Awesome game. And one of the few board games that allowed for 1 player games. The issue is the tower itself, which is motorized. The years aren't kind to the mechanism, so most people tossed it when it broke back in the 80s and 90s. And even if they kept it, finding it in working condition is a pain. But they do turn up at garage sales and thrift stores sometimes (since it's an obscure game) so keep your eyes open. It's like free money when you find it. :)
Hey Rick! I’d have to say my favorite childhood board game was “Key to the Kingdom”. The object of the game is to defeat monsters within each castle to retrieve treasures and escape the kingdom. The board itself would fold based on if you would land on the portal spaces, revealing the other side of the board with new areas and castles to defeat new monsters. I’m sure that I’m terrible at describing the game but you should definitely check it out! Keep up the hunt👾

Best retro board games are Fireball Island and Dark Tower. Had a lot of fun with those as a kid. :)
