couldnt agree with you more about caravan site prices. They mostly seem to have taken a leaf out of van sellers books- think of a price, double it then add 20% covid tax. a couple of sites I used to go to which used to charge 18 a night WITH electric are now charging 35 a night PLUS electric. I've now fitted Viv-i-van with 300 watts of solar panels and aiming to get some lihium batteries eventually, but in the meantime get myself an Ecoflow battery bank for use on bimbles for my channel because I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay 40+ per night for a camp site. for that kind of money for say a week, you can get a cheap package holiday in france! The van is looking proper good now , Brendan and you and your Dad did a cracking job and its good to see you loving every minute of using it. Bessy regs as always- Kenny
Cheers Kenny 👍 yeh I just can't justify paying silly money for some sites where they haven't even got a shower on site... World's gone mad mate. Now I just rely on the EcoFlow units to power the luxury items 👍. Yeh the van is really taking shape now and I can't wait for some epic adventures in it 😁
3:41 - Brilliant video mate! Keep it up! To keep the draws in you could use push magnets, they would be inside the draw so not visible from the outside for a more flush look!
Hi Brendan, wonderful camp! It's been really great seeing your channel grow over the years. It's also so good to see you getting sponsors...you really deserve it! I hope Matti is better. As always it's great to see Dave & Adam. Hope your family is well! Look forward to when you take your son and wife on a camping trip! Thank you so much for sharing, take really good care, stay well. Hi Brendan I have finally decided to start car camping. Love your video and it’s great you and your buddys can all get together and camp. Can’t wait till your next video! Hope your dads doing well! ❤
I do lots of long distance hiking up here in Scotland and I’ve got Scarpa Maverick Mid GTX, lightweight, breathable, gore tex material and never had wet feet or blisters
Fab video dude. I owned a pair of Salomon boots for about 20 years. Finally gave up on me a year or so ago and disintegrated while I was walking. That was interesting, but up until then, flawless. Would recommend. Around about £100+.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video 🙂 I actually brought a pair of them about a year ago and didn't get on with them but may be worth trying them again
WOWSERS!! I am absolutely coveting that Ecoflow cooler!! It would be awesome for our off grid cabin where we can't keep things cold in the summer, and can only keep things frozen in the winter (due to being in the Yukon). Not to mention for all my car camping and RV adventures!! Apart from that, it's always fun to see you and the boys out camping in such glorious scenery!!
Great to see you out again Brendan, I can’t wait for your next video. I wish you put one out everyday, I always look forward to seeing yours as you seem like a genuine sound guy. 👍 also you’re a man after my own heart, I love anything for free so camping with no fees is always welcome.
Thanks mate 🙂 I'm hoping one day I can do this full time and get a few more videos out 👍. The outdoors is for us all mate and should be enjoyed as such 🙂
Have a look at hidden childlocks for the drawers. Won't be on show and will keep the drawers closed magnetic childlocks also have the option of flicking them to 'inactive' when you park up
@@BrendanExplores well atleast it's liveable and comfortable looking forward to doing my adventures but unfortunately preoccupied with finding a place to move to in the country at the moment..my town is too full of tourists all year round and getting right on my nerves lmfao
I always wonder if you contact a brand for stuff, or if they reach out, and of they reach out, is it because they search through channels, or is it the amount of viewer's... 🤔 Love the friendship vibe, it's just golly good feeling watching..
I always thought this as well but I found that after the channel reached 10,000 subscribers I had multiple emails a day requesting partnerships. About 90% of the requests never make it to the channel though due to either being crap or a scam. I don't know how they find my channel or what metrics they look for but in this instance, it really helps with camping equipment to make videos 🙂👍

Hi Brendan, great video as always. As much as I would love a van, I am getting worried that it seems more and more difficult to find places to park up peacefully in one. I have a C4 Grand Picasso with blacked-out windows for my adventures and to be absolutely honest, I genuinely feel very confident about having a peaceful night. If I'm honest, to me it is never obvious that you are parked up for the night in a car, and if a 'ranger' spots you late at night they probably presume you are on a night walk and if they spot you very early on in the morning, well, you could be on a sunrise walk. It seems to me that this country just doesn't want vans anywhere apart from an extortionate campsite which is a shocking way to treat people with vans. People who park up remotely are still going to spend money in the local area, so the excuse of 'not supporting' the local economy doesn't wash with me at all. Anyway....sorry fro the mini rant lol. All the best.
Your absolutely right buddy 👍 I'm just glad I went with a small van to be able to park in any space available to a car. I hope the rules don't get any tighter as it's already near impossible to have a relatively cheap getaway. Good choice of car by the way 😁👍

another 4 grand cheap 20year camper. whats your point
Camping in a no over night camping spot , not a good look
I personally think it's a beautiful look 👍 left no trace, respected our environment and enjoyed a great camp with friends. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Everyone should have the freedom to do just that
You freeloaders are a menace, taking over all these beauty spots etc, no wonder you attract stone throwers.
@@BrendanExplores You don't that's the point, the land does not belong to you.
@@beecee6850 Agree !
Boots wise, I’ve had a few as well. Merrel MOAB I’d recommend always on sale at go outdoors so not too expensive, gortex Lined so waterproof, very durable had mine for years.
Thanks for the recommendation 🙂 I'll be popping into go outdoors soon 👍
