I've witnessed Michael Brown have many discussions and debates with many people and he has always responded in very gentle and kind way. The rudeness of the caller was appalling. He reminded me of a Christian fundamentalist with whom I once tried to have a conversation but eventually had to give up because he wouldn't stop interrupting. Dr. Brown was patient and kind but the called did not respond in kind. The other thing, if the caller thinks he impresses anyone because he can speak in Hebrew phrases, he does not. It's a radio show. If you want to spout insider jargon, make an appointment for a one on one conversation. Otherwise, recognize you are calling a radio show that has a diverse audience, most of whom could not give a rat's hind-end about your knowledge of Hebrew phraseology. If you want to impress me, have a civil conversation. The insulting, arrogant, and ignorant way the caller described Christianity will come back to haunt him. He will one day feel ashamed for his behavior and most of all for his disparaging comments concerning Israel's and the world's Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth. Just a cursory study of the Gospels would show the many ways Jesus fulfilled Jewish Prophecy. I will pray for him, especially that the hardening be lifted from his heart and mind (Rom.11:25; 2Cor 3:14).

One reason is bcuz Jews have a long history of being persecuted by Christians and Christian Nations. So, they may have a sense of reservations, and mistrust with Christians, or even disdain towards them. He fulfilled the law, now all I am required to do to receive salvation by trust in Him. Though I am very far, staying in Singapore but my spirit is awesomely encouraged by Dr Michael Brown testimony as a good disciple of Yahushua. One thing that decimates arguments about teachings and doctrines and traditions is factual manifestations in one's life because of Jesus, with a level of peace and love that surpasses anything they've ever experienced...Prayers being answered and miraculous outcomes just because of honest faith in Jesus. Early on this was happening to me WITHOUT even knowing the baby food of the Bible. But by exercising independent faith & pouring my anguished heart out to Yeshua. I've never heard of any other spiritual belief being capable of such things just by genuine faith and letting go. NOT by first memorizing book knowledge , seminar's & oral laws. And WITHOUT superficial symbols , dress codes (uniforms), amulets, talismans , astrological scheduling, head bobbing, mood enhancing candles & fragrances and broken record chanting..

I do not understand how one can cling to Judaism when they cling to the letter of the law, but do not practice the letter of the law. The Temple, the Priesthood, the rituals, the sin offerings, the sacrifices, adhering to the over 600 laws 100% because to break one is to break all which brings judgment, no mercy - all non-existent. That does not bother followers of Judaism? How can Judaism be validated without all its underlying requirements. The law leads to death. In Jesus Christ God founded mercy. The insulting, arrogant, and ignorant way the caller described Christianity will come back to haunt him. One thing that decimates arguments about teachings and doctrines and traditions is factual manifestations in one's life because of Jesus, with a level of peace and love that surpasses anything they've ever experienced...Prayers being answered and miraculous outcomes just because of honest faith in Jesus.

Aside from the bible, we can read the writings of Josephus, A Jew who also become a Roman writter telling about life of Jesus Christ.

The Temple, the Priesthood, the rituals, the sin offerings, the sacrifices, adhering to the over 600 laws 100% because to break one is to break all which brings judgment, no mercy - all non-existent. That does not bother followers of Judaism? How can Judaism be validated without all its underlying requirements. The law leads to death. In Jesus Christ God founded mercy. Why do people cling to a death judgment instead of accepting the mercy offered to us in Jesus Christ.. Colossians 1 from verse 15.

I've seen Christians sharing their faith often, and everywhere. I've seen muslims proselytizing at the main centre in Toronto. In my long life I have never seen a non-messianic Jew preaching or sharing his/her faith, with an intent to bring another person to their belief in Hashem.
This "Ultra-Orthodox" Jew has brought a particular Scripture to my mind. 2 Timothy 3:7 (KJV).
”God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man” ~ Numbers 23:19
”I am God and not a man, the Holy One in your midst” ~ Hosea 11:9

God's goal isn't a balance between good and evil. This is paganism at it's worse. God's ultimate goal and His character is 100% righteous and good. God's good is 100% triumphant! Hallelujah!!!

I've heard a number of people from the middle east, not just jews but muslims as well, who speak this way. They run at the mouth, spouting off ideas without a breath, not allowing others to talk. Is this a cultural thing?
This rabbi is really confused! The rabbi want's to make statements (own opinions), not exchange ideas or points of view. God is one and three at the same "time". That is the God that created the universe (and can do anything. ANYTHING!). All religions believe in gods that obey the laws of this universe (one equals one). To create this universe God MUST be out of this universe and timeless (as time started after the creation of the universe). Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior! God bless, from Brazil.
