I came upon your video by accident. Well not accidentally, I believe in divine intervention and guidance, but I would like to learn more. I have been trying to learn Hebrew to understand the deeper meanings behind the scriptures, and often wondered if the everlasting life Jesus spoke of in the scriptures meant reincarnation! I know we are all just passing through, and I want to know what my calling is and how I can help others on their spiritual journey. Your video has been very helpful and I appreciate coming upon the knowledge and wisdom you shared. I subscribed to your channel and will try to learn all I can. I am thankful for your existence and thankful to God for the knowledge, love and kindness he makes available to us all, if we are searching for it, through those He chose to share that knowledge and wisdom through. I think you did a wonderful job, and I am eager to learn more! I'm not sure what religion I am but I know I have been here before. And although I'm not sure where I am going, I know God is leading me somewhere...

The Islam which you see being practised is not Islam , it's the paganism of hadiths ( fabrications ) . Hadith following and writing are strictly forbidden in the Quran along with secatarianism. There are no rituals in Islam , the Quran forbids them . Salah / salat is to give zakat not to read namaz which is basically parsi Namaz and belongs to zoroastrianism. Sawm means to be steadfast on the path which God has shown in the Quran NOT hunger fast . Islamic Hajj is to broadcast the message of God not circumabulate kaaba ( pagan deity ) , it was built by pagans not Ibrahim . In surah Marij God says , he gives every soul 50000 years to reform itself , we keep getting reborn untill we are reformed to be resurrected to jannah / heaven . Those souls who don't reform themselves in 50000 years are terminated. Islam / Quran is secular but 99 percent so called Muslims don't know . Read Dr Kashif Khan's ( Quran researcher ) article on the internet to know the Islam which the Quran brought, the real Islam .

Examine the egregious conduct of Muhammad and his companions. Things the clerics never tell you, but it's easy to find now.

It’s amazing that the things that needed to happen so we could find a home after moving. The enormous list of things that had to happen involving 4 people in an important therapy session could have only been planned by The Creator, The Source, The Original, God, who is known by many names. My struggle to continue on alone hurts me physically. But, I cannot stop. I feel I MUST do the right thing on this journey in order to reach my husband on the other side. Yes I know that the hebrew name of God means that, and the old and new testaments are interesting, also the Talmud and Zohar, that's not the point. The question is the approach to spirituality. People need to be at peace with their ancestors, rituals and their knowledge is necessary. People need to be in harmony with visible and invisible Nature, rituals are required, and so on. Harmony has to be worked on from the bottom level, otherwise Man is constantly divorced from Nature. Approach is everything, do you understand what I'm saying?

I had an experience where I was looking in a mirror and saw not the face of a young man in my twenties, but the face of an middle aged Viking woman who was tough and strong and I realized It was me in a past life. Sounds crazy, but it was true in my heart and my soul. I told my roommates that I thought I might have been a woman in a previous life. They said nothing but looked at me like I was crazy. I have also experienced a true miracle of God and live my life with this knowledge for the better.

And remember Jesus fights against all other religions and beliefs. You can say the teaching of the Catholic Church is wrong, because you have seen your fast. unsolicited advice: Be honest about your experiences, and don't fear loss of relationships. Also, if you worship a god that is a "jealous god" and commands you to worship it... it's not actually God. I wouldn't advise being Catholic, few denominations of Christianity are any where close to being as flawed and inherently evil as Catholicism (sorry, Catholics, it's just true)
Your relationship with God is not dictated by rituals and rules, and God does not reside in or prefer Churches. The framework of reality is complex, but it's a rather simple notion to understand that you're supposed to be tempted by one who is a deceiver and full of pride. If your God is contradictory, and prideful, then it's not God, it's a deceiver. Unfortunately such a folly is the state of Catholicism, and people are encouraged not use their God-given gifts of critical thought to assess and realize this rather obvious fact.
You shouldn't lose faith in God over this, you should use this to truly find God.
Also just to say it, it's a misconception that reincarnation is something governed by memories, this isn't so. If you experience memories that are not yours, that's not indicative of reincarnation. When reincarnation occurs, much is lost, including memories. Souls are not fully reincarnated. Souls shatter upon death, and only pieces of them are recycled. Your foreign memories are more likely related to states of high consciousness that allow for "remote viewing" so to speak. In such situations, you will experience another life from it's perspective, creating the illusion that it is "you" because you directly experience their experiences. IE, when you experience another life, you must be that other life. You return to yourself, and remember the remote experience, which can be mistaken for having a personal experience quite easily.

I recently read a story that was in the news. The story itself happened many years ago. It was told by a mother who one day stepped out of the house with her twin daughters, trying to cross the street, and a drunk driver hit the young children, and killed them. A few years later, the same mother asked her husband if it was OK with him if they had another child. And the woman got pregnant, and to their surprise, gave birth to TWIN girls. About two years after that, the young girls began to complain why the mother had thrown away their toys, after they looked repeatedly and could not find them. They described the toys of their two dead sisters, which the mother had thrown away after their deaths. The children also began reflecting on other past life memories, and had a hysterical phobia of going anywhere near any car! The mother then went to the news, saying, she thinks her twins are reincarnations of her two young daughters who have died in a car accident by a drunk driver. It appears, the spirits of the two killed children were able to determine to be born to the SAME mother, as they were also able, or had control over, being born to the same mother AT THE SAME TIME, as twins. It is not the first, nor will be the last story told of spirits determining who their parents are before incarnating.

Thank you for this wisdom. I needed to hear this. I'm trying to help improve the life of my brother with a (old) brain injury, who is in an awful nurisngome.I was caring for him, but he was "on the streets" & frankly, I wasn't doing a great job keeping him out of trouble & was constrained by what he'd allow. Then, bitterly cold Winter night, he began knocking ondoors asking to come in for warmth & police were called. 2 days later, while he was in the hospital (confused & fighting with staff) & not knowing I had a problem, I went into heart failure & needed cardiac surgery & then a pacemaker. I was suffering from the Takosubo syndrome ("heartbreak" syndrome) which kills many people. It's stress-induced cardiac damage & the only stress I'd had was tryigng to care for my brother. I made the hard decisionotpetitionfora Guardianship & agency; knowingI was at my limit. Now, 2 years later he's in a horrible nursing home & needs protection, again. I've decided to helpwhen I saw where the agency moved him. He has many needs, no clothes, etc. NOT take over the Guardianship, but become activelty involved. My family's mad at me for this decision; they want me to take over, but I've prayed & meditated about this & am comfortable with this level of involvement. Maybe I am here to care for him (& others, since I'm a retred RN). Happening upon this podcast feels like a Spiritual gift. Thank you.

Rabbi, your video has reminded me of thoughts I had as a child and young person. I would meet a random person maybe for only a moment and get a feeling I would meet them again in my life time. A feeling of circles. People coming in and out of my life for some purpose to them or me. As I aged l didn’t notice these encounters as often, maybe from distractions of the stress of responsibilities but once in a while I’ll encounter a person and feel an instant connection and comfort that comes from familiarity on a deep level. In a moment of meeting that person I would know what makes them laugh, sad, passionate, or vulnerable but not through words.. Thank you for helping me connect to that childhood ability to tap in to the current that goes through us all.

It’s not a crutch. Had my NDE many years ago. It changed me... but not in the way people might expect. It was so beautiful... and earth is like walking through peanut butter. As years pass, one has to let it take a back seat in one’s psyche or go nuts. You must still live out this life with all it’s highs and lows.. and the truth is... it’s still a mystery no one has unraveled. Not while we’re in our human bodies....if you’ve had an NDE... and millions have, you know it doesn’t make this life easier. At first it does... and then time in a body passes... and if anything, many NDE experiencers actually struggle a lot. It’s been researched extensively. Much love to all as we struggle to love and live a moral, ethical life... knowing we always fall short.

Thank you so much for all you are sharing. I have recently found out more details about my heritage through some online sites. All I knew about my grandmother’s heritage on my dad’s side was that her parents died in a car accident and her house burned down when she was a young girl. I traced back her father’s heritage to Sutphin (Dutch) and Alderman (which would be Jewish). Her mother’s heritage is still a mystery. My grandmother’s name was Hester Merle (Sutphin) Reece. Her father’s name was Harvey Walker Sutphin. Through find a grave I saw the only picture I have ever seen of my grandmother as a young girl. She is pictured with her father and two older sisters (who later raised my grandmother after their parents died). I will be subscribing to your channel and listening to your content because I can see your very wise words can answer so many questions I have had. It resonates with everything I've experienced. I think everything happens for a reason, information comes to us when we need it, we only need to be open to it or "plugged in". You mentioned being on stage in a play; I am an actor and have performed in many plays; on stage in front of thousands of live audiences. What I've learned from those experiences is that it's very important to focus on NOW, on THIS moment and on what you're doing otherwise you're not really "in" the play, you're not fully "in" character. In training as an actor 90% of the work we do is developing a deeper level of focus and attention on what we're doing - called "Independent Activities". I see so many parallels between life on and off the stage including the ideas of reincarnation. As an actor I will have multiple entrances and exits from the stage; I will even play different characters in different plays and on different stages at the same theater or with a completely different theater company. Night after night I might be repeating the same words over and over (which is part of the reason we do "repetition exercises") but any script is like a bus ride to Boston as is life. I know I'm getting on that bus and I know I'm going to Boston but I don't know how many detours we'll have to take; how many flat tires we'll get, who I might run into during that trip. In that process though of doing the same play over and over; you learn how to improvise, overcome and adapt and most importantly you learn how to connect with the other actors, to stay in the moment, stay connected, to really GENUINELY listen to the other actors and not just listen for my "Cue", listening in order to hear and not just listening in order to speak. It makes you more emotionally available in life. The process of becoming an actor really does develop your intuition if it's approached the right way but unfortunately most people who become actors these days are only doing it out of a narcissist and selfish desire and obsession with fame and materialism. That's not why I became an actor, for me it's part of my spiritual path. It's almost a religious calling to become an actor because it's a path of self discovery which leads to greater self awareness and hopefully some degree of self mastery. In any other art and even sports you learn to master an instrument like a guitar, a piano a violin, a tennis racket, baseball bat, paintbrush but as an actor you ARE the instrument and as an actor you have the power to transform peoples lives if you work on material that has integrity.
I just saw the movie "The Whale" last night which is about one man's difficult journey through life but at the end of the movie he's in a beautiful place of light (trying not to say too much or ruin the story). I have been in the light; I know that I am more than my physical body; I know that the universe speaks to me whether I choose to listen or not and I can choose to walk around blindly ignoring the messages and signs, the light that illuminates my path or I can choose to seek it and stay on the right path as directed by my higher self in order to achieve my highest purpose in life. I do listen and I feel like my path and my purpose is in the area of teaching and helping others so I teach a free acting class for disabled veterans at the VA and I also do volunteer work at homeless shelters; trying to locate homeless veterans while in that environment and doing what I can to help get them off the streets; living a better life and having something to look forward to (the stage and the lessons it will bring IF they choose that path of self awareness). To me every moment of every day is about staying IN the moment, listening carefully, seeing every opportunity to be of service and to give something back when the opportunity presents itself. It's not about what I can get, it's about what I can give. It's useful to maintain this mindset as an actor as well, during auditions for example. I'm not there to GET something I'm there to give something and be fully present; in the moment, in EVERY moment. Not to be selfish and only thinking about what I can get out of it, I already got something out of it - every audition is an opportunity to perform and I LOVE performing as an actor. And I've also learned that no matter how I FEEL about the audition once it's over or how well I THINK I did, that has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not I got the part. The worst audition I ever had (as I felt it) I actually got the part and sometimes when you FEEL like you nailed it you don't get the part. So I decided that I'm going to feel blessed and joyful no matter how I think the audition went because that's MY choice. I can't decide the final outcome but I can decide how I'm going to feel about it and it turns out - that's literally my job as an actor... to have emotional freedom and DECIDE how I'm going to feel. We actually train for that also but that's called "emotional preparation", it comes in handy on stage as well as in life and in the Casting Directors office. If I enter the room already a nervous wreck the casting director can see that, THAT'S what I'm bringing to the character, you can't hide it. So the audition actually starts long before I have even entered the room.

Thank you for your most profound and inspiring message. You are a very rare, proper actor. Nowadays all these terribly overpaid actors cannot really act! They're all just themselves in every film or play. They can't be even bothered to study the character they're supposed to be and give the character traits like they way they walk, how they speak, different mannerisms, so they could become that fictional person.
I used to work backstage in a big theatre and I couldn't believe that some actors didn't even know what the play was about! They were just spitting out their lines, which were pinned to the flats as they could not be bothered to memorise them!
I used to make props and sew costumes but that's a history now.
This world needs more good people like you are.
Being content with your performance will ensure a long and healthy life for you.
Wishing you a very many more wonderful plays and satisfaction from your work.

Shalom Rabbi Simon Jacobson, I just stumbled and started enjoying your videos. While not Jewish by birth, I've felt as one ever since I could remember. (I think I watched the Ten Commandments (the movie) more than a dozen times during my teenage years). Being from a Berber background (North African, not too far from places related historically to Maimonides), there is a great possibility that I might be of a Jewish descent. Veering towards less rational grounds, I clearly remember my previous incarnation, in which I was born in Vienna, fled Europe to escape Nazi persecution, landed in Casablanca where I died. Coincidentally, I was born in that same city. The doctor who delivered me was Jewish. My childhood friends were Jewish. My first love was Jewish. Etc. Whether there is validity to this or not, I'll conclude by raising the proverbial cup of gratitude to toast the mysteries of creation, as signs of divine presence being just around corner, almost reachable, almost palpable. Thank you for sharing your wisdom
