The only problem with an accidental fall into the water, outside of drowning, is that sometimes children will then develop a fear of deep water. It's not just a pool, it can be any event related to water.
I Fell to a pool, once, accidentally, age 2. Positive parenting is key, next memory I have I was learning how to swim. Overall taught me how to keep calm under those circumstances. Great job indeed.

As a single parent with a pool I was always afraid of my youngest by 14 years falling in my pool. So from the time he was a baby we played a game called oops I fell in the pool. Although my pool is fenced and all the doors leading to the pool had high latches, sure enough during the winter he managed to open a gate and fell in the pool trying to get a ball. Even though he could not swim much at all he was saved by the game where he learned that as soon as he was falling in he would reach for the edge and go hand over hand to the steps or ladder. I did not even know he had fallen in until he came back through the gate and rang the front door bell, soaked and crying. I had only taken my eyes off him for a couple minutes and would have lost him if he had not learned to save himself. I saw the look on your face my friend when you thought for just a second of losing Lenny. I felt that way for days after.
Thanks for the update. Love to see your adventures. I had to laugh at Riley's hopping. I remember those days. I think it took me 6 months after my kids got a bit older to stop unconsciously swaying while waiting in line at the grocery. Safe travels guys.

Lenny is a great swimmer! I’ve seen him in other videos, he’s very comfortable in the water especially going under! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Riley jump up and literally slide across the patio so fast when Lenny fell in!
Something I totally appreciate about your videos is the sound levelling. So many people play music and then talking but I have to turn down the music and up for the talking, but yours are always perfectly level (I’m sure there’s a technical term), but as a headphone user I totally appreciate this. Just want to say that you guys have really inspired me to relax more being a single mum with my baby boy and go with the flow and potentially travel and adventure similarly to how I did before he was born! I've been stuck in such a rut since having my baby on my own in lockdown in the UK but you've really inspired to shake things up again - thanks!

Thanks for keeping it real and showing us the realities of cleaning a flat after staying with children - just finished cleaning our rental and it was so good to know we’re not alone!
As a single parent with a pool I was always afraid of my youngest by 14 years falling in my pool. So from the time he was a baby we played a game called oops I fell in the pool. Although my pool is fenced and all the doors leading to the pool had high latches, sure enough during the winter he managed to open a gate and fell in the pool trying to get a ball. Even though he could not swim much at all he was saved by the game where he learned that as soon as he was falling in he would reach for the edge and go hand over hand to the steps or ladder. I did not even know he had fallen in until he came back through the gate and rang the front door bell, soaked and crying. I had only taken my eyes off him for a couple minutes and would have lost him if he had not learned to save himself. I saw the look on your face my friend when you thought for just a second of losing Lenny. I felt that way for days after.

Thanks for the update. Love to see your adventures. I had to laugh at Riley's hopping. I remember those days. I think it took me 6 months after my kids got a bit older to stop unconsciously swaying while waiting in line at the grocery. Safe travels guys.

Loved this episode - brought back so many memories (my wife and I raised two very energetic boys). Would not trade a minute of those experiences for anything! Live and cherish every second, they will be grown before you know it!!
Lenny is just too too cute. He is starting to talk and that adds to the cuteness. Also I've had all 3 of my pfizer shots and it all went good. My wife and I had all 3.

Lenny is a great swimmer! I’ve seen him in other videos, he’s very comfortable in the water especially going under! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Riley jump up and literally slide across the patio so fast when Lenny fell in!
Something I totally appreciate about your videos is the sound levelling. So many people play music and then talking but I have to turn down the music and up for the talking, but yours are always perfectly level (I’m sure there’s a technical term), but as a headphone user I totally appreciate this.
