Scout is easier than demo to pick up. Demoman has two unique weapons that you have never used before in any other game. Scout on the other hand is just playing quake or unreal tournament or serious sam or doom or any older game that has a shotgun. Hell, fortnite, apex and overwatch skills will translate to a degree to scout. Even experience with league of legends will help you with positioning and predicting enemy's location a second into the future. Scout is regular fps aiming + positioning but faster. There are two simple variables to pay attention to and once you get a decent grasp on doing that simultaneously, you're good. If you're not new to first person shooters it won't take long to figure out what you're supposed to do with this class.
I think that's an absolutely valid take. My mindset at the time was likely focused on how hard it can be to stay alive as Scout with his low health pool and close range combat, and didn't consider how little knowledge his weapons took to learn. Don't get me wrong I think he places himself in the middle of danger more often than your average Demo, but sticky bombs do have a solid learning curve to them.

Engineer can be easy can be hard because if you play like normal engi well it is like easy just need good place for sentry While if you play like uncle dane shit
Firstly, Tf2 isn't like COD or Counterstrike. Movement in this game is more like ice skating and positioning is key. Sniper is one of the hardest classes to get gud at for any Tf2 noob. Just because you have some skill in sniping in CoD or Counterstrike doesn't mean you'll automatically excel at Sniper. As a Sniper you have to worry about Demos, Scouts, Soldiers and most certainly Spies if you don't have the Razorback equipped. Secondly, aiming isn't easy. Sure one could say it's basically clicking heads but it's easier said then done. It takes actual skill and patience. You can't pull off trickshots and quick scopes. Try any of that shit and you'll spend most of the match respawning. Sniping in Tf2 is more realistic then in CoD or Counterstrike. Also targets are moving much faster then in both of those games except for the heavy. Who is easy prey. Ultimately Sniper is one of the hardest classes to master. On parallel with the Medic and only bested by the Spy.
Umm i have to disagree sniper is probably one of the easiest class to learn how to play just like how heavy and pyro is. And sniper skill ceiling is pretty much around aiming which is a thing every class must be effective for you to be good at.
While Spy does take a lot of skill to master, a lot of it is... Pointless. Like how you talked about disguises a lot... Any good team makes the skill of disguising pointless, so you could argue to "master" Spy, you don't need it. Just master clock management, and occasionally trickstabs.
One can argue that mastering cloak management and occasional trickstabs on good teams takes as much time and effort as mastering the other 8 classes...
Having Medic being easier to learn than Engineer made by visibly cringe. Medic has to learn alot about priorities, crossbow aiming, when to flee, etc. Engineer has to learn literally what everyone else has to learn (assuming they don’t having Wrangler or Short Circuit where mistakes will actually be punished). Like Positioning and game sense :/ Positioning and game sense, Engineer :D
as a new player I can make my own list (easiest to hardest): 1. medic (no aim just w+m1 and then only heal good players.) 2. Pyro (have to aim but airblast do be a little funny) 3. heavy (aiming with hitscan is actually quite a bit harder than a particle) 4. Scout (big damage and you will always have shotgun practice after playing the game because 5/9 classes have it) 5. Soldier (its quite hard to play soldier actually) 6. demoman (pipes make me head hurt) 7. engineer (need to be able to know the game well) 8. sniper (sniping is hard and a lot of classes will feed on you constantly if you can't hit headshots) 9. spy (wow what a shocker I know)
Okay. I might be a little bit biased, but you say medic is easiest, and then you literally admit to sucking at playing medic. “Only heal good players”. That is possibly the worst decision you can make while playing medic.
play medic first, then call it w+m1. Medic maining makes you insane. you only watched uncle dane call medic easy and never tried medic seriously. easiest classrs in the game are: pyro, heavy and soldier. hardest are: scout, spy, demoman. Engie, Medic and Sniper take similar skills that are in the middle.
Excellent list! I would have put Medic at maybe top 4, since to be able to survive you need a lot of game sense about the classes, something that con only be gained through experience and maybe an understanding on how the other classes work. Medic gameplay tends to be very fastpaced in my opinion, having to make a lot of different decisions when trying to make your team staying alive when in the middle of a fight
and demoman is hardest class in game PEOPLE SPAM STICKIES BUT THATS WRONG A GOOD DEMOMAN RELIES ON PIPES AND PIPES ARE HARDEST MECHANIC TO DO EFFICIENTLY
Oh rocket jumping takes hundreds of hours of practice to truly understand those mechanics. I'm simply talking about the skill floor, not the skill ceiling, with this video.
@@noitsjustcody yeah it's funny because coming in I was thinking scout was gonna be one of the easier ones, but then I realized that beginners don't really have any class, map or spatial awareness which is super important to play scout effectively. Good thing I didn't make this list XD
People who says the medic is the "easiest" class in the game are the people whos bad at medic. every time I see people playing medic on youtube they're just standing still or they barely move and they don't even know that healing the same person makes your Uber slower to built and the healing rates doesn't even stack up and they don't where or when to pop Uber and many more What I'm trying to say is medic is not an easy class

Engineer can be easy can be hard because if you play like normal engi well it is like easy just need good place for sentry
While if you play like uncle dane shit
Thank you for your words!
Like
Positioning and game sense :/
Positioning and game sense, Engineer :D
as a new player I can make my own list
(easiest to hardest):
1. medic (no aim just w+m1 and then only heal good players.)
2. Pyro (have to aim but airblast do be a little funny)
3. heavy (aiming with hitscan is actually quite a bit harder than a particle)
4. Scout (big damage and you will always have shotgun practice after playing the game because 5/9 classes have it)
5. Soldier (its quite hard to play soldier actually)
6. demoman (pipes make me head hurt)
7. engineer (need to be able to know the game well)
8. sniper (sniping is hard and a lot of classes will feed on you constantly if you can't hit headshots)
9. spy (wow what a shocker I know)
Okay. I might be a little bit biased, but you say medic is easiest, and then you literally admit to sucking at playing medic. “Only heal good players”. That is possibly the worst decision you can make while playing medic.
play medic first, then call it
All classes are difficult because calling to learn is too high. This game will kill itself
For me, engie and scout are swapped, especially when you factor in subclasses
pyro should change places with pyro
agreed
very cool too bad i dont know how to aim because i use my nose to press the w key
im a spy main and im trolldier and soldier is not that easy class what about the rocket jumping?
Oh rocket jumping takes hundreds of hours of practice to truly understand those mechanics.
I'm simply talking about the skill floor, not the skill ceiling, with this video.
Honestly I think every class was hard for me to get a kill with other than pyro when I first started
Honestly, same lol. This game has a surprisingly high skill floor despite its tone, amirite?
Soldier was the first I felt really confident on here.
@@noitsjustcody yeah it's funny because coming in I was thinking scout was gonna be one of the easier ones, but then I realized that beginners don't really have any class, map or spatial awareness which is super important to play scout effectively. Good thing I didn't make this list XD
all
med being last is stupid like it took me around 10 hours of gameplay to figure out how does he work
Medic was not last, though...
@@noitsjustcody i know but you mension people put him on Last as the easyest
7:10 wth scout is easier than soldier dude
just play undertale
nvm i started tf2 as spy, this explain why scout feels ez
You should do sub class
What paint is that tomislav?
Iirc it was Star Crossed! But also it's been years and I'm far outside of the trading scene lol
@@noitsjustcody Ty
I started play tf2 for 4 years ago and i picked spy. Now im gae
Engineer is easyest
People who says the medic is the "easiest" class in the game are the people whos bad at medic. every time I see people playing medic on youtube they're just standing still or they barely move and they don't even know that healing the same person makes your Uber slower to built and the healing rates doesn't even stack up and they don't where or when to pop Uber and many more
What I'm trying to say is medic is not an easy class
excatly, It seems easy but when you play it, expect 75% Of your game play to be spectating after death.
Get kickkked
Feels bad man
Spy is easy tbh , engi is hard
ik, Spy is easy you just dr outta there or invis while engie is basically nerfed for no reason he cant defend, he's slow so he cant get back to his sapped nest. It's not fair for engies.
sniper takes no skill
you think engineer is harder than medic lol
In terms of skill floor? Absolutely.
@@noitsjustcody I guess it also depends on who you're against. :)
Oh totally, and I mean this list isn't based on any hard science or anything. Maybe I'm just bad at Engineer lol
@@noitsjustcody I know what you mean
