I love that this take on Jill's nightmare from 3 Remake gives a reverse vibe of "Same scene remade in a different time". If I had never seen 3 in any capacity and had to compare both nightmares, I could easily see myself believing this to be how PS1 RE3 actually starts, and how it evolved in the Remake we know now!
Amazing and excellent work, this demake makes clear that Nemesis appereance in the remake was wrong so early. Breaks the rythm of situation and brings just a escape sensation but, without the horror and suspense. Excellent work!

There are some good indies for pc like the old resident evil games... listing a few: Alysa, Them and Us, Tormented Souls, Echoes of the Living (this one is still in development, but have a playable demo already). All of them are based on fixed camera angles, the first one have ps1 graphic style, while the rest have more of a modern graphic aspect, resembling the resident evil 1 remake. There are actually more than that, but those are the ones that first come to mind to me.
I suppose many PS1 style games are still being made Alas, not much good if you don't have a computer Just because technology advances doesn't mean you have to with it
My brother and I are soon going to be working on an original survival horror in this style. Quick question. What modeling software did you use to make this? Was it Max? Blender? And what resolution did you render the backgrounds in?
Also the lightning effect, I assume you made various light levels in the actual 3D render, then set the background to play an animation of it? Whatever it was it looks phenomenal! Well done!

I love that zombie Jill was wearing her STARS outfit. It shows that Jill still thinks about the mansion incident and what could've happened to her. It what reflects the same scene where she drained a tub with a zombie inside. All this accomplish the same feel of the remake with ps1 graphics.

That bathtub scene is awesome and creepy! The whole trying to kill it but it won't die thing is spooky and a very simple but effective nightmare scenario. This would have been incredible in the remake if they had an actual gameplay sequence of you being attacked.

Zombie Jill coming out of the bathwater is such a brilliant idea and a nice callback, way cooler than the mirror scene in the actual game.

i love how it looks properly pixelated. most of "ps1 remakes" have the pixels too smooth, like running a filter on an emulator.
