But it is also nice that we have also seen indie developers that are now trying to make PS1/PSX generation of games as well.

RE is such a weird game to comment this on. Tank controls + camera angles is a thing of the past. The primary reason for the way the first RE played was the hardware it was created for.
People who prefer the tank controls and fixed cameras are akin to those who stay with an abusive partner. Its not a good thing to be nostalgic about bad controls.

It was the fixed camera angles that made me hate resident evil back in the day…people always said how good it was but the camera always annoyed the shit out of me…since the remakes I’ve been in love with the series (some of it anyway) first resident evil I ever truly played was 7 and I loved every second of it…next was 2 the remake and then village…beat all of them a few times

I played online the campaign yesterday with a friend of mine. Still looks phenomenal, specially the boat/water chapters. Such a beautiful game.
