Looks awesome, and simple. Almost exactly how I do it and yeah, I do like a bit of cinnamon in the egg mixture. The only thing I would change is I only use real maple syrup. Game changer.
We are new Blackstoners (1 Month) but just love your videos...have learned so much from you and eat practically all our meals now on our new 30 inch Blackstone....Thanks so much
I am making it this morning - French toast and bacon, exactly according to your recipe on my 36 inch Blackstone, low and slow with butter as the oil. Usually, when I cook breakfast on the grill I cook the bacon first and spread some grease around when I cook my toast on the grill to go along with my over easy eggs. This makes great toast.
Ooh, great call! I do the same with Smashburgers - I do the bacon first then use a little bit of butter in the bacon grease that I spread for the burgers. Even my daughter who hates bacon (shocking!) love the burgers this way. Thanks so much for watching!🤙🤙
I've been unable to make decent French Toast for years. I recently got a 22'' Blackstone, did your recipe using the Artisano bread, and it was beyond awesome! They smell just like funnel cakes cooking on the Blackstone. SO good...another great cook, Adam! This has made it onto the rotation as a go to trip to Flavortown! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
Haha!! Love this so much! I’m so happy this helped out - we just made French toast again last night - it always tastes amazing!! Much love fam, GRIDDLE ON!!🔥🔥🤙🤙
I'm about to go camping and bringing my new more portable 22". I was looking for an idea for breakfast and you nailed it. I'm more of less is better on the syrup and top off with a dusting of powder sugar. Love the videos thanks for sharing...keep'em coming.
Thank you so much for watching! And YES!! What an excellent suggestion! Okay, we’re adding that to our list - we’ll see if we can’t get one done before Christmas - I think it’s a perfect “holiday” cook! Take care and GRIDDLE ON!🤙🤙🔥🔥
We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press. This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.
I love French toast that looks delicious thanks for another great recipe thanks for sharing 😃 I should have waited till the end I was worried where was the bacon 🥓🥓🥓🥓😃
Question, won't the griddle warp if you turn off some of the burners over time when you do that? That's what I heard anyways, Lol my Blackstone grill is on its way. I can't wait to cook on it. Thank you for your videos, just what I need to learn how to use my new grill.

I use Mexican vanilla which has a hint of cinnamon without the clumping you can get with the real stuff. Also, try it with lots of butter and sprinkled liberally with powerdered sugar - kind of like a Dutch Baby pancake but with French toast!

Thanks for the suggestion, we’ve used a temp gun many times - when we were putting our first cookbook together, it was our editor who pointed out that the temps are “guidelines,” but not entirely necessary. Think of the griddle more like a stovetop, low/med/high settings. There is more to the explanation, but after a while of using the temp gun, many people complained that we would say 400 for a cook, and they found that too high or too low.
