    There is a total of 4 a/c fuses to check and 1 a/c relay. All the air condition fuses are located in the main fuse box just next to the passenger right leg.
    Watch the video to see how to access it.
    Fuses to check are:
    FUSE #11 A/C Clutch
    FUSE #13 Climate Control Module Power
    FUSE #14 A/C switch
    FUSE #32 Power to A/C Clutch Relay
    Air Conditioner Relay is located under the front hood in a small fuse/relay box.
    Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for the video. Im a subscriber now. My fuses we're good. But when I poped the cover on the little box underneath the hood and my compressor clutch came on so my relay must of had corrosion or came loose. Thanks for your knowledge, its a asset to the community.

    abs, a/c , cruise control fuse kept blowing.
    It was the 7 prong trailer connection
    just wanted to share, I haven't seen no videos out there showing that it was the seven prong connector. it took me a few days to figure out hope this save somebody some time.

    My Ford 2004 doesn't have the fuses where you say they are. They are in the engine compartment

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  2 роки тому +2

      Hmm that's strange. 2004 - 2008 should have main fuse box in the passenger cabin and just a small relay box under the front hood. Older body line F-150 made up to 2003 would have main fuse box under the front hood

    My fuse box in the engine bay is identical as yours, but mine only has one of those square relays and its in the bottom slot

      Mine only has the one relay as well and has regular fuses on the outside of the little box. I've watched many videos but none have been like my 04 King Ranch. NONE. FRUSTRATING.

    My ac stop blowing cold could a fuse be the problem? Firestone says it’s the ac clutch and wants to charge me almost $1,500 on my 2008 f150

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  4 місяці тому

      Well fuse is the first thing to check and if it is not burnt out then you have to make sure a/c is charged up. If it is then look at and test the compressor. a/c clutch is part of the compressor so they probably want to replace the compressor. If you want to save money order up parts online by yourself and find reliable mechanic to do the work

    My compressor clutch is always engaged and doesn’t cycle on and off. Suggestions?

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  Рік тому +1

      Hi, there could be couple of reasons this happens. First make sure refrigerant levels are as per specs. If not that it could be a thermostat problem, pressure switch or even a faulty compressor where clutch is stuck open. Sorry I can't help more

  • @DaleAkins01
    @DaleAkins01 4 місяці тому

    It is an empty slot there for me. Not the AC compressor relay.

  • @jordanleonard5534
    @jordanleonard5534 Рік тому

    I've got a question. Compressor clutch won't engage. I can jump the relay and it kicks on. I replaced the relay and clutch will not kick on. Also gonna add I have not charged the system after replacing compressor and dryer. Does anybody know what's going on?

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  Рік тому +1

      Well definitely try to charge the system and see if it engages then. Most of vehicles will have safety mechanics preventing compressor from working in case a/c refrigerant is too low or overcharged

    My ac and heater and the red security lite doesn't come on anymore after changing the starter why is that???

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  Рік тому +1

      If fan doesn't work at all I would start by checking blower motor fuse / relay. Possibly something shorted while you were replacing it.

      Would. This be the keep alive to the computer and would this cause the heater / ac/ and the red security lite and also run kinda ruff when at idle and take off

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  Рік тому

      @@carloso-g Hmmmm this is really hard to answer without looking at the truck. p1633 shouldn't cause the symptoms you are experiencing, but it also points towards possible problem with the PCM. And if PCM gets fried you'll be getting all kinds of unusual symptoms. I would start by checking all the fuses / relays and I would make sure all the grounds are connected maybe even pull additional ones. Then measure voltages and check all the wiring. Replacing the starter shouldn't cause any of this, only if something shorted out
