how does the cpi work with the jb4 and sxth tune, i got the jb4 BEF and run e60 with cpi, was considering the full sxth tune but not sure how that stacks up yet to the BEF
They are really close. Main difference is Terry doesn't add boost to his BEF, you do that with Maps. Sxth is plug and play and you can use Map6 to dial it in or turn it up in a few spot.
Wow These respond well to boltons! Meth seems to be the go to choice for these newer Hyundai/Kia performance turbo cars. Are you concerned about boost leaks on these ?
meth isnt designed for daily cars, its highly corrosive and incredibly dangerous. Id suggest doing e85 or something comparable. Its not worth it if you get hit in the rear you are gonna be a fireball.
@@Bo12346hhgfgdg I have the BEF 85/19 through SXTH, currently running E51, but from what I’ve read you can run full E85 on the 85/19 BEF, tho gains would be minimal above E60
Currently jb4, and brake snip only. I run 7.78, and 11.99. Everything else stock. What should my next mod be? I'm having a hard time between ecu/tcu, cpi, or hpfp. Need any info your willing to give!!!! That thing is moving....
First, don’t bother with the HPFP, no HP gains and a waste of money. If you wanted to get progressively faster, get Cold air intakes, then an upgraded intercooler. From there choose Meth or CPI. Same gains, same cost, but it will depend on your access to E85. If you have it, CPI is the better choice. If not, WMI is still great, I ran my 10.9 with meth and 11.01 with CPI.
@awdgt2stinger270 thanks....but being a technician and builder for years I can't figure out why cpi would be better than hpfp? Seems to me with my knowledge of building cars the hpfp is the best way to run straight e85. Or will the duty cycle of the injectors cap the pump and have to have the extra injector for volume? I already have intakes. And run a custom map by me.
@boostedstinger You're exactly right about injectors. Plus no one has really nailed the E85 tune yet. Once you pass E50, several other things need to change like dwell times, ect. We've also proven gains above E50-60 are minimal if any. With CPI, as you know it's a 7th injector that can be controlled with PWM as opposed to a fixed WMI nozzle. The other limiting factor is the turbos. We've pushed these cars to the max already, no more timing, no more boost. If you try to add anymore, the turbos are just blowing hot air, or you'll lift a head. So we have the fuel, the octane even the pressure, the car just runs out.
Correct, I've hit 10's at this track. I recently switched from WMI to CPI so I'm just shaking it out. JB4, Sxth ECU TCU, Agency intakes and IC, HFC's, and mbrp exhaust
Progress!

Tell me what pressure the turbines blow?
Roughly 22 psi
@@awdgt2stinger270 Tell me for all the time have you had any breakdowns? Gearbox or engine?
@user-dv9zg6qf2z None, no issues so far and I have over 100 1/4 runs
Hello. Tell me is it on native turbines such a time?
Yes, stock turbos
i heard fayettville drag strip was sold and they were shutting it down??? i used to run there all the time when i was stationed at Bragg
You heard correct but new owners came in last minute
What mods are installed?
I have the JB4 with CPI, Sxth ECU and TCU tune, MBRP exhaust, Agency CAI and Intercooler, Ultimate Performance High flow cats.
