That was fantastic! Thank you so much - you are a great teacher. I love your attention to detail and the fact you mention that it will need practice and not to give up. Cheers. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
I do a lot of sewing and always looking for new and better techniques This is the BEST zipper application I have ever found. Perfect the first time I used it on my cushions. And so easy to match the fabric pattern using this method. Thank you for sharing this idea.
Thank you! Just sewed a cushion and your tutorial was a great help. It turned out great for a first try. Thank goodness cuz that foam cushion was expensive! The sun fella fabric was too.
So glad to find this I was thinking I wonder if the welding foot would work better than the zipper foot and started to look for a video and found yours. Very grateful for it thank you so much God bless you😊 keep up the great teaching tips I am going to subscribe 😃
Took on a box cushion project after many years away from the sewing machine and this video was so helpful in getting me back at it. I like this method for the zipper strips, no fussing with turning under the seam allowance and getting the right band width.
Hello Cynthia, thank you for taking the time to do this tutorial.. i have been watching all your videos and your teaching style is so fantastic. I don’t have a single welting foot😢 can you recommend a foot to give the same results please. I will definitely be getting the single welt foot in the near future.
Just a tip, if you put the zipper head on from the other side, you'll have closed zipper teeth at both of the ends where you'll eventually need to seam it together, just provides for a stable zipper on both ends. Hope this helps!!
Do you ever work with leather? I am trying to learn upholstery and my goal is to use leather instead of cloth. I also am having to learn how to use a sewing machine (Pfaff 145). I've watched several Workroom Channel videos and they are so helpful. I just find that the leather is thick enough that it makes some of these techniques a littler harder than I thought they would be.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much.
You are a very good teacher. Not expecting perfection first time and warning it will take a few tries to master it. Well done.

I just finished my first box cushion with piping. And thanks to your instructions, it turned out beautifully!
Love your videos, making my first cushions for lawn furniture and so happy I ran into your videos. Love my results
Excellent, excellent! You made it seem easy! Thank you! I'll be back when I assemble my box cushion.
Thank you for your helpful and informative videos.
How do you finish off the end at the top of the zipper so it doesn’t come off track? Same as the bottom?
I have that exact same question. I have to say this is the best video I have seen yet on the subject!
Awesome how to video, and great job overall.

This is a great way to do zippers. I am off to practise. Thank You!!

Great videos! This method will be my favorite, too. How do you know which end to put the zipper tab on?
in the video you use a welting foot. Could the same method be used with a zipper foot?
Thanks for this video.

The waste fabric behind you leave it on or you cut it off?
Thank You
thanks 👌
Cynthia could you please tell us what machine you are working on? So smooth. I’m due for an upgrade.
