I like the looks of these too. I guess everyone has forgotten that the Blazer name has been on a smaller SUV since 94. It’s been getting groceries and picking kids up from soccer practice for a long long time. And no one complained. Ford brings back the Bronco and suddenly everyone else gets nostalgic. If Chevy called this the K5 then I’d completely understand the heartache. It looks great and hopefully enough folks buy it.
My friend your thinking of the S10 blazer. Your right that was small but it was body on frame vehicle. Making more truck than car despite its small size compared to the old K5 blazer (also body on frame) I agree with the looks, doesn't look bad, it's just that chevy put the blazer name plate on a unibody crossover that has at least 3 other siblings looking VERY similar. We just bought a 2020 traverse rs. It looks like the big brother to the blazer, and we love it, but if I wanted something that would be able to go off road, pull a small trailer and have real truck underpinnings I would of bought a old S10 blazer.

If the vehicle has lane keeping assist, it has electronic power steering. The SD Card is only for the navigation map database.
Huh. Interesting on the lane keeping assist. I didn't realize that, but it makes sense with regards to electronic power steering.
I bought Silverado LTZ 2019 with premium and safety package last year for $49K. Why is this in $48K? I love to know what GM is smoking before pricing their cars and trucks 🙄😳
Too bad you did not have the RS model that one looks nice. I do enjoy the looks of the Blazer that looks different than other SUVs. I believe the glove box button is for when you put it in valet mode so it will stay locked

The electronic glove box button means the glove box is always locked when the FOB is not present. You can put guns and money in there without a care

They should drop the price a little especially in the premier version at least 3-4K and add more torque for the Rs model for a little more performance and maybe that could sticker for 47-48 k range just so the value could be there ..
It should have the rear mirror cam. I have the same suv with same packages u just need to flip the button under the mirror to turn it on. I love it. We all got our opinion on things and to me this blazer is the best looking. Don’t like that old box and the early 2000s were just horrific. Price wise Chevy has a lot of incentives so u r not gonna pay msrp. Ppl say u could get this and that for the same price and that’s not true. I priced a lot of competition suvs and when u load em up with everything that the blazer comes with they always end up being more. Hate sunroofs so I had to wait 10weeks to get mine without one. Plus this corona bull goin on is u it took so long in my opinion it’s a great suv. Price is only msrp and is not what u r gonna pay.

Chevy did a nice job on the style, its clean and well appointed, the market segment is so over-saturated with offering, you have to be serious in this game to attract a lot of customers!
Did the speedometer go to 170?! You would think with 9 gears and 9 years plus more technology they could beat my discontinued Venza on mpgs... apparently not...
It's a car not a Blazer. It's a disappointment not a Blazer. They completely missed the mark. They could have built a Bronco and Wrangler competitor and really have something but failed.
All four wheeled automobiles are cars...a pickup truck for example is a type of car, a.sedan is a type of car.
Etc.

Chevy ZR2 or Z71 Blazer, please. This is just a family hauler with tech and a peppy motor to keep up with all the fast little Japanese cars. And could it AWD system keep up with Jeep or Ford systems offroad.
You know that chevy glove box button is going to break and make it a pain in the ass to open the glove box and fix. A lot of chevys are nice new and this one looks ok. A few years down the road will it disintegrate? The price is a little high and they never should have used the blazer model name but it looks like a decent mommy mobile.
I really like the looks of the New Blazer, the ques taken from the Camaro are nice. yeah it suck it's not a true "Blazer" but I still really like them. Would be sweet to get one with the LT1 or LT4 motor, they make an RS model, put the LT1 in it and call it an SS trim etc. Direct competition with the Trail Hawk and the Durango SRT
They are nice. But way to expensive. No reason to buy this over an Equinox in my opinion.
I have a friend who works at a Chevrolet dealership. He said the same thing. He was waiting for this to release but when he found out the price and options, he opted for an eqinox.
Imo the equinox is very boring looking and smaller. They price this high so it looks like you're getting a great deal when you easily negotiate down
Equinox is slightly smaller and also doesn’t offer a V6. In fact for 2021, the Equinox will only offer the 1.5L turbo engine. So if you want more power and room but not 3 rows of seats, Blazer is your ride. Personally I think this Blazer is awfully expensive and I find the Equinox/Terrain to be big enough inside. But we had a 2011 Equinox that was hot garbage... I’d opt to get a V6 Blazer, but I’d be very careful with the options sheet.
@@ATRichard that is incorrect. The 2.0L has not be dripped and it infact out sells the 1.5L. The 2018+ equinox is light years ahead of the older model. The 2.0L turbo equinox is also faster than the V6 Blazer.
Terrence Jones Sorry man, everything you just said isn’t true lol. Go to GM Authority or Roadshow.com and look up the 2021 Equinox. Both it and the GMC Terrain will drop the 2.0T for 2021 and the facelifts have been delayed until 2022 due to coronavirus. The 2.0T will come back for 2022, but all 2021 Equinoxes and Terrains will have the 1.5, even top trims. The reason it’s being dropped a year is because the 2.0T engine sells slower than the 1.5T, just like the 1.6L diesel was dropped because of terrible sales. Both the 2.0T Equinox and V6 Blazer take ~6.5 to 7 seconds to hit 60 MPH, so that’s virtually a tie besides on fuel economy. Plus, like I mentioned - the Blazer is a bigger, sportier, more capable option now in general with the V6 and doesn’t cost much more (if you’re smart with the options sheet that is).

Good for a mom or family and you get the auto glove box instead of an auto rear locking diff. Can this thing do an offroad rally race? After all, Chevy has won so many races.
This is a unibody SUV with nothing in common with the older Blazers.
$48k and no moon roof? Wow, that's going to be a hard sale!

I’ve seen these with the pano roof. Blazer’s pano roof cuts into headroom so much due to its design until I think I’d skip it, regardless the price point.
If UAW is pissed about Blazer being assembled in Mexico, where are they regarding the GM/SAIC deal? If it weren’t for the Donald, ALL GM cars would be coming from China via Shanghai auto group, like Buick’s Blazer counterpart.
I drove these when I worked for a Chevy dealer. Not impressed. It's a equinox with a different front end. No way, shape, or form should they have called this grocery getter a "Blazer"!!!
This car does have the camera mirror if it has the 360 camera they are one package you just have it off

I love the motor and cup holders, but not made in the USA and not a great offroader bad. My 89 S10 Blazer is good offroad and decent on road. You show no offroad driving.
If judge smail's wife (caddy shack) drove an SUV, this would be what she picked.

Compared to what? That's what top trim, two row, midsize CUVs go for.
