Have you looked into how much a temperature controlled storage closet would cost in your area? The closets are relatively inexpensive and since you already have your things in sorage bins that should be all you need. (For your keepsakes.)
I'm such a frugal person and I'm a stickler about bills and recurring subscriptions 😅 I swear it all adds up so fast and one day I'll have a little extra storage hopefully in a house but till then i don't mind it being in closet. Thank you for that idea though I'm sure someone will appreciate the comment too 💗

What about adding a narrow piece of trim to the top so the bins don’t hang over at all, and then getting the bin labels from Target to add to what is now the front of the bins. Just an idea if you want to be fancy. LOL The fancy hangers are a little less at HomeGoods. A mirror would be perfect at the end of the closet!

It turned out really nice!! I would recommend some peel and sick paper on your shelves for your shoes to keep the floors nice and white. You can also use it on your back wall. Great job!

Whenever there's a package delivery to the house, Coby barks and scratches at the door until I open it so he can sniff it before I bring it inside. Once I open it he then has to sniff it out. Lol. Dogs are so funny and so sweet!!! You did a wonderful job on your closet. Doesn't look like the same one. It doesn't matter about the baskets. Looks great!

What a great update! I would put a picture over the breaker box (the kind stretched over a frame), get three or four of the inexpensive dorm mirrors from Walmart and put them side by side on the wall opposite the closet unit, throw in a little stool and you have a dream closet! Love your videos!
You did a great job! You should replace your plastic hangers with velvet ones. You can get them at TJ Max or any store like that and they are not that expensive, also the great thing about them is that they give you so much more room in your closet.

Just a thought...we have a huge pantry that is freestanding...We took "L" brackets and attached them to the pantry top along the edge of the back and then screwed it to the wall studs to prevent it from tipping over. I wonder if you could've used those on the tops of your bookshelf instead of the wood piece and then your bins would slide all the way back?

Great job! Sam's Club has the best hangers for a good price. I think you get 50 in a pack. They are velvet and the hook turns in either direction. They also take up way less space. We have transitioned our closets to them and we are so happy we did.

I just looked online. $12.98 for a 50 pack. And there are a couple color options.
You can check TJ Max too. Sometimes they have the large packs for not that much. I also found at ALDI a 50 pack of velvet hangers for $20.00
