The little water compartment only last like 15-20 minutes then recharge. It works good on empty spaces. If you have a lot furniture it won't reach those areas. So basically is not a "vacuum" but a floor cleaner. I cannot tell if did a good job with my center carpet. After cleaning the filter compartment i found lots of cat hair. The floor was very clean.

If you have dogs make sure you vacuum really good before you use it. Dog hair does clog it up. I returned mine.
