I have the Polaris Max with the Zodiac Cyclonic canister and running a single speed Pentair super flow pump and it works fantastic!

Glad to hear the Maxx works great! Polaris and Zodiac is the same company so I expect it to work similarly.

Mine keeps climbing, goes beyond the water line. How do I stop it?

If it climbs too high and often it means your RPMs are too high. You want to lower the flow. There are two ways to do this depending on if you're using the mx6 through a dedicated suction line or if you're using the skimmer basket. If using it from a suction line you lower the flow by adjusting your diverted valve at your pump. If using it at the skimmer basket you can lower it with the flow regulator valve, the piece that connects to the cone that goes into the skimmer basket. There's a lever piece you pull down or up to decrease or increase flow. Hope that makes sense!

It will last may a year or so then many parts need to be replaced or get a new pool cleaner again.

How does it navigate? Do you know about its overall pool area coverage.

The MX6 has no navigation system. It's programmed to move a certain way based off the gears built inside of it. I forgot exactly but it's something like forward for so many seconds/clicks of the gears, then turn right or left for so many seconds, then forward again and repeat.
It runs of the suction of the pool so although it doesn't have a smart Navigation system it does pretty well picking up most debris because it runs pretty much as long as you have your pump running

    2 holes ??
What dose the other hole go to ?

Two holes in the skimmer basket you mean? One goes to the pump and the other takes water from the pool. The suction cleaner attaches to the back one that takes it to the pump

I had a Hayward for years, and it broke down constantly, and was expensive to fix. My local store recommended this model, explaining that the parts to replace were few, and relatively inexpensive. It worked fairly well for a while, but in the long run, all it wants to do is wheelies, climb the wall and escape, get stuck on or in front of the stairs, or not move at all. I have done so many adjustments to speed and valves, and the sweet spot for it to run properly is seemingly very small. I recently got a new variable speed and filter, and it's still up to its old tricks. Every review I've seen says it's great, but that hasn't been my experience. I've paid for it twice over now in replacement parts. Oh, and the twist lock hoses are $30 each. If you get one, get a newer one with pressure lock hoses. If you already have the twist locks, get the adapter for $35 and buy cheap hoses until the stock hoses all break.

very nice review, however you might want to do a quick google search of the companies you are promoting with your affiliate links to find out if they are connected with human rights abuses...

Clearly you have no experience with pool cleaners to give this advice.
