That Skin1004 sunscreen is amazing! Works perfectly under makeup also! It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin but it’s really hydrating! I’ll definitely keep repurchasing it!
But does it have a white cast on darker skin tones?
@@Raul-ux22 the reviews I’ve watched about this once blended in & using 3 finger amount it left a very slight grayish cast when completely blended in on darker skin tones.
@@Raul-ux22I have very fair skin and even I get a very slight white cast with this sunscreen. It’s barely noticable on my skin and doesn’t bother me, but for someone with a darker skin tone, it could definitely be an issue.
I don’t really see how it’s fair to knock down the Isntree HA sunscreen to 7/10 because some individuals might be sensitive to HA. If we applied that logic across the board then the Beauty of Joseon Rice + Probiotic sunscreen needs to be knocked down in the ratings because some people might be sensitive to rice bran or probiotics (the con of Aveeno Calm + Restore oat cleanser has oats and some people are sensitive to oats etc.). It’s not really a solid argument to pinpoint as a negative. Particularly because these ingredients aren’t hidden… it’s in the name so people with sensitivities to it would obviously avoid.
If u have a sensitive skin plz avoid isntree coz it just burned my skin.The texture is sooo good , you feel like there is nothing on your skin and it’s soo damn hydrating but I am sensitive to chemical sunscreen.I use HA serum it never caused me any allergic reaction.

I just ordered the Skin1004 a couple days ago…cuz you told me to. I still love BOJ! But I use MAS every day. ❤
I looove the rice beuty of Jehova sunscreen it’s so good but so expensive
Biore is my go to sunscreen for the summer! BOJ is my go to for the rest of the year. Biore and BOJ are holy grails for me! 🥰 Skin 1004 is great but it has a shiny finish so that’s why I prefer BOJ more.
Isntree, Cosrx Aloe, and Round lab are good too but the others are just a bit better for me.
Axis-Y makes a great physical sunscreen - it has a bit of white cast but it goes away about 5 min after application
Other amazing one (a holy grail grail) is Australian Gold tinted sunscreen-it has a soft mousse texture-a bit drying so be sure to moisturize well before using. makes for great primer too!

Biore is japanese. And, to be honest, as a Korean, I’d say ‘as a cosmetic product, Biore one might be not so good. But as a sunscreen, it’s the best among them.’
Sunscreen must block the UV well enough, before the texture or any other additional ingredients, which are good for your skin.
MAS sunscreen for the win but I also love the BOJ one x

HaruHaru Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Daily Sunscreen is my favorite so far… love the satin finish no shiny … in very close 2nd place is Skin 1004!!! BOJ is so thick LOL!

Can you do a top 10 sunscreens for oily skin?
I have combination skin but in the summer my skin is more oily so the Biore one is my go to! It works great and the gel like texture is cooling.
Australian gold - tinted is also amazing. it’s a bit drying so it works pretty well with oily skin. in the winter though i have to make sure to moisturize well before using this one.

Have you tried any of the Verdio SPFs? Currently using the Verdio UV Moisture Gel SPF 50+, it's inexpensive and is 80g, and it's very easy to get the exact amount you want from the bottle. Would love to see it compared to the other big asian sunscreens.

Skin1004 makes me breakout like crazy. Not sure why. I’m a combination oily skin person. BOJ and Isntree suit me.

True, but Japanese and Korean skincare have a lot of similarities so they kind of fall in the same category. Would’ve been better to say Asian sunscreens though

Okay but how do these look on skin tones darker than yours? I saw people try centella after I bought it like an idiot and just because an spf won’t break you out or whatever doesn’t make it good.
I wasn’t impressed by centella my favorite is isntree🥰
I hate the packaging on that centella one though. The lid pops off far too easily and the pump makes me anxious because of how the lid comes off. 😅

Skin1004 burns when I have a compromised skin barrier. Crazy because it’s supposed to be good for sensitive skin.

If someone is 'pipped at the post' or 'pipped to the post,' they are just beaten in a competition or race to achieve something.

the audacity to put biore in to a bad light lol. not even korean and alcohol is unavoidable if you want the sunscreen to be super light and is fine if it’s formulated to be super moisturizing to counter the alcohol. this is rather dismissive than being overall objective.
and honestly as a plain sunscreen, its the best out of everything in the list. really stable protection.
Yeah, no. These are not Korean Sunscreens that Koreans even consider. Do better man. 😢
