@@tinochadoka6078because of the straight pipe. it’s an o2 sensor being thrown. because the sensor is in the cat he removed
why I fell in love with my 540/6 was hearing it from 2 blocks away pulling into my neighborhood and the sound was just awesome!!

Lol this is exactly how my X5 sounded, 99% sounded just like when I took off the mid pipe (the flange after the resonator, but I took out mine so it's basically straight piped)
Just by hearing how ear shattering the note is past 3k rpm, I know how hard you're hitting the gas too :)

they sound sick! I think I read that the firing order on those make an odd and unique V8 sound.

It changes sound after around 4000 rpm like some vtec :D.. and it sounds godly!

When BMW first brought out the 540i it was so good they weren’t gonna bother to develop an M5

...With the secondary cats & resonator delete you must have shaved 30+ kg off the car plus that 2 large barrel silencer at the very rear which is a deadweight lol ....I would say your car must be 50+ kg ligher now !

Komm nach Niedersachsen Bruder ich habe einen 3 Liter mit 260 ps und paar Kollegen 540i das sind die seltensten e39 beide als Handschalter. Sind halt mega selten deshalb hast du die selten gesehen bzw. nie ✌🏾

nitish21 im pretty sure the mid 2000s cts had something like 340hp. Maybe a v8 dodge charger or a mercedes clk 500 they had around the same thing

Bro e39 540 is great for the penny you pay but also for 5 grand you can also get some bad ass 335i n54 twinturbo and have tons of fun 🤙
I've driven both cars, the 335i is soulless I'd never choose that over the E39. I used to have people come to me and compliment the E39 at gas stations and stuff. No one cares about a 335i unless its like huge turbo or something crazy brother

Not even slightly but for 300k km it was okay just needed a few things replaced

3400 originally put like over 2k in repairs over a year and a half tho
