What are companies looking for as a type of verification for hours of flight time? Would hours flown on your dji controller suffice, or are they looking for flight logs?

Typically they’ll ask for some type of log. AirData is an example of this and syncs directly from your DJI account.

wow . How much are these companies paying for inspection?

It depends on the scope of work and client. Pay ranges from $150/site to $2,200/site. It all depends on data and deliverable as well. Basic captures are on the lower end. More detailed captures like LiDAR etc are on the higher end.
