    Join us for an exhilarating day in the life of a skilled drone pilot as we take you on a journey of a day in the life of a drone pilot/entrepreneur. We will follow around Kyle New, the CEO and Founder of Full Time Drones for a day of inspections in the cell tower (telecom) industry, as well as commercial rooftop mapping and thermal scans. This video features the use of the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, DJI Mavic 2 Pro and the GoPro Hero 10 for capturing data on telecom sites. The Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 and the Mavic 3 Thermal were used for the rooftop scan.

      @@fulltimedrones I'd be interested in any information you are willing to share. I am learning this field and could use some help. I am currently trying to get the hang of making 3d models of towers. I am experiencing alot of poor results. At the moment I'm using Reality capture. Thanks.

    I' ve been in the drone business a couple of years now as an employee and finally started my own inspection company a few months ago in Greece. I find your videos great and helpfull on what I am going to face in the coming years. Keep up the good and educational work!!!

    These are very interesting. I am trying to get into doing inspections. It would be nice to see the results of the thermal at the end. I understand if you cannot show clients data though. Anyhow, great content. Thanks for sharing it.

      For this particular project I cannot, but I have several that I can share. I’ll do a video showing more detail of the capture for both optical and thermal, then show the processing and results

    On the last project how many batteries did you have to use on the phantom?

      Usually each tower takes anywhere between half and a full battery. I usually fly in Southern California so the towers are shorter than the Central and Southeast US.
