Thanks for watching the tutorial! Let me know if you have any issues or questions below. If you're looking for more physics tutorials in Blender, check out my Mantaflow Fluid Sim tutorial I just put out: ua-cam.com/video/E50G2wiECwY/v-deo.html
My weight gradient instead of being a line is a weird circle being projected on the cube. What version of blender were you using, I'm using 2.91?
my gravity doesn´t work it just keeps it in zero gravity alwayz :C
fixed it but now my cloths keep moving by its own not all of them but some
fixed it !!!!!! hahahaha
@@lucasyoshida2274 how did you fix my sim is completey ignoring the vertix proximity
The best disentigration effect I have seen in blender so far.
For those of you where the exploded particles stick to the initial mesh:
In the Shape section of the Cloth simulation in the Physics tab: change the stiffness value under the Pin group to 0
Thank you so much 🙏

Great tutorial man. Thanks!!
This is AWESOME! Thank you for the wonderful video. Subscribed.
Thanks, your work is great.
Thanks so much! On the point and so helpful!
Great job and thanks for showing.
Thanks! 😀
This was pretty neat. I'd love to see a tutorial for discombobulation.
Man WTF you deserve alle the subscribers and views existing on youtube!
nice and concise
Thanks for the tutorial . I can get this to work on a simple cube but that is the only thing I can get to work. Even using suzanne I can't get this to work. It is nice looking if you are looking to shred a cube or a sphere, some simple geometry but any more detailed geometry I have all kinds of messed up results.
this is seriously underated
The earth disintegration effect was beautiful. Did you use again cloth simulation for that effect? what are the differences?
amazing bring tutorial inspiracion
Great tutorial! Cheers. I'm having some issues in Blender 2.93 where the particles seem to disintegrate properly when I preview scrolling the timeline but when I bake or export the animation, the balls start clumping up. Any idea why this is happening?
Thnx a lot for this but how do i make it loop like the animation in the start?
Wow thanks :D
great stuff! i'm having a problem getting the particles off my cube. I adjusted the strength and flow but still seem to only get the middle faces too clear. Thanks!
You're not alone. I have restarted the tutorial a third time now and the same results each time.
Awesome video man. The music in the beginning of the video is like I was watching Animal Crossing New Horizon game 😃😄😁
Thank you! And yeah, its so chill, its from an artist Louie Zong, here is his channel, so much good music!

@@BlenderTutor is a pleasure. Thank you for sharing his channel I will check it out and it is true what you say it is chill 🤩. Keep it up making awesome tutorials man.
Great
thx!!!!
i have a problem in render , when i render in cycles my particles dissapears
didn't know that it's possible to make this effect.
In my View port all good but when i render its a stretch mess can some1 help plz
Hey man I'm having issues with my wind, I'm using the silk setting and even lowered my weight per vertex to 0 but it just doesn't seem to to be affecting the simulation despite the strength at 50000, any ideas?
Just go into edit mode, select any vertices of the object move it , get back in to object mode. You are done . It seems a bug but this quickly resets the simulation of me. Do it each time if win does not effect object
when i render all th peices seem to attach to the original shape could someone help?
😁😁😁thankssssss
Hey. I can't keyframe the gravity. My only option is to keyframe location and stuff.
How do you do it this is my 14th time trying, ican't just remember
When I try to render the clip. It's not working right. It doesnt look like what I have in the viewport.
Bake portion at 9:56 seems to take 1 frame an hour. My two models I'm using to transition were about 4,000 faces total. Just, an fyi this is a very intense transition with a lot of calculations going on in the background.
13:03 WTF? did you do some change with Wind or not?
how do i bake in eeve faster?
I did it fine with a cube. But when intry it on my ownnobject (door knob) i cant get it to atop exploding immediately
outer square won't pin..
is there a reason why this would work with a cube but not with a more complex object?
Not that I can think of, this should work on any object that you can follow this workflow with.
Hello, it's great but how do you make disintegration for Spider-Man??
yes
well, thanks for the tutorial but that earth distruction is...is...I wish I can UNSEE IT!
This looks great in my preview render. But when I render it, the cloth doesn't tear, it stretches and bends. Can't figure out why.
Before baking the cloth go back to object mode, dont stay at weight paint mode.
did u fix it ? cause i have same problem in view port all looks good when i press f 12 ( render ) its a stretch mess !
@@Duuude9448 The subdivision settings were different between viewport and render. I set both to one, and issue is fixed. Don't ya hate it when it's the little thing you overlook?
@@ShawnFerrell thx mate ! but i found problem and yes it was subdivision u just need to apply it before render :) i spend like all day to figure it out !
Hey, does anyone know if this works in 2.93 everything looks as should in the viewport but in final render cloth doesnt render, furthermor, the problems seems to be the particle sim modifier because when i delete it, obviously the cloth turns into a jumbled mess but it renders where as when i disable all the other modifiers still doesn’t render cloth as long as the particle modifer is there, also tried the project all over again in 2.92 and same issue is this a bug or? Ive searched for hours also for a hidden hide button that i may be missing but everything is activated🥵
Let me try this in 2.93 and get back to you
Hmm, everything worked ok on my end in Blender 2.93. Eevee or Cycles? And is everything baked? Or possibly the render layer is turned off but the viewport layer is turned on?
Hey so i figured out the problem which in looking back makes more sense now, basically i had set the emitter to not show like in a typical particle simulation but because the emitter is technically what makes up the “cloth” it’s important that it does show up in the render so just ticking that fixed everything, as always it was just a dumb mistake good tutorial and cheers!
to fast for me ... i am from Romania, not speak english very good, but appreciated your work and i follow - start to finish!
I have a problem, my cube won't dissolve, it just become simple cloth.
Any solutions ?
It is hard to tell without seeing for file, but one reason I've experienced is if the modifiers are in the wrong order. Make sure the modifiers are in the same order as in the tutorial, and that the particle system settings are also the same.
@@BlenderTutor
i think i've done it wrong because at the weight paint view, my model(?) doesn't tear off.
But no, it works.
Thanks.
Elegans
it didnt work for me when you press "i" the first time to make a key frame!, blender ask me what kind of keyframe i want, anda there are so many i dont know what is the correct :/
you press I when you select the gravity. first type in the gravity you want then press , move a frame forward and then type in the new gravity and press I again
@@lmckeown123 ok i'll try! Thanks!
use location
@@issacike2868 thanks Issac!
showed deep understanding I guess
dosnt really work, main problem is, that the particles are disappear very fast.
Now I know "once your happy with..."
Default Cube I don't feel so good...
Yes great, but i think your missing a few thing. you have a displace mod which you don't mention and I recon a few other things you haven't exspained.
I bet thank is watching this tutorial
Pacing started out great, then you sped up and started flying through the steps, making hard to follow. whether following along or just watching.

It's not a good tutorial at all, everything went above my head, I don't know what am I doing actually
