Wow! The first Blender tutorial that assumed nothing of the student. Every detail clearly articulated plus great tips along the way. It doesn't get better than this!
just built a new pc for blender learning since my old one sucked and took 2hrs to bake sometimes, so this will be a great test to see how this new machine performs, thanks for all the great free content and when i can afford it ill become a patreon!
Even simpler: in rotation, enter # frame * 0.001 (very slow) or # frame * 1 (fast) you can enter any value. You can also enter for example #sin (frame * 0.1) for a bounce or back and forth. Instead of sin, you can also enter cos or tan (exponential acceleration).
One suggestion: add "track to" constraint to camera then you wont need to add extra keyframes to camera to keep simulation inside the camera, Just put the empty object in the middle of the simulation, select empty object to track after putting constraint on camera and you're done after setting starting and Ending keyframe of Camera movement. This is nice tutorial, and I learned something new from you. Thank You!!
Your tutorials are a godsend. I was looking for an opportunity to improove my knowledge to work on my sci-fi project and am amazed at how perfect and useful your renders are to me. I did a bit of background work and made some awesome desktop wallpapers, one look that immerses me in the creative atmosphere I need. Thank you! You are the best...
Just found this channel and i'm impressed! Usually physics simulations are just a sidenote on channels, I like how you specialize in them because they are my weakest point in blender.
Hey, quick suggestion. When you need to change the interpolation of keyframes, just select them in the timeline and press "T". It will open up the same menu and you can save some time too.
No wonder my particles where not sticking about my helix lol. I didn't use hair for mine. HAHAHAHHA. Yup I've just had to wait to see your tutorial. Though I created my helix diff to how you made yours. just from using a plane and wireframe. Really appreciated from me about learning all these bits n bobs :D
Hey Aria, another highly informative tutorial. Thanks for all the time & effort you have put into creating these tutorials for us. I'm sure there are many "Blenderers" out there that have developed new skills from your tutorials & they all appreciate it. Wishing you all the best for a very merry & safe Christmas & new year. Stay safe & keep on smiling ⛄🍾🎄🎁😀
@@AriaFaithJones You're very kind, thankyou. I've been trying to think of a alternative collective noun for people who use "Blender". Currently I use "Blenderers" maybe "a vertice or a verticy of Blenders" might be better LOL Blessings to you & your family 😀
My mac for some reason, hates hair simulations in blender (no idea why) anyway Thanks to geometry nodes, I can create the helix as in the tutorial, and then animate and distribute the first layer of particles. Then just add the second system as normal. Great tutorial by the way
FANTASTIC!!! I'm working on a Dungeons & Dragons, bow and arrow type of weapon. I think this technique would be great on the tip of a magical arrow!!! Your tutorials are extremely easy to follow because of how concise you are. Thank you so much!! Happy New Year!
My New Year's resolution is to perhaps show some of my copies of art. Copying other people's tutorials is not really art. Where is the line drawn between what we learn and what we create.
Hey, Aria Try To Record Your Screen At 60 FPS, or If You're Doing That Then Try To Edit It Out In 60 FPS Too. That Way The Lag May Go Away. By The Way Great Tut As Always.
Tip for your next tutorial: a) Slow down - you can't keep up at all. b) explain why you change certain parameters. Otherwise the learning effect is the same. Like driving blind with a navigation system. You do not find the way by yourself
Hey Aria, Thanks for the tutorials! This fellow West Coaster appreciates all of them! Can you do a setup/computer spec video to show what type of a system you are using? Have a good holiday!
Sorry for saying this but please use a program like voicemeter to change your voice , I bet it's very nice to hear on real life but its not on tutorials. Btw your tutorials are awesome , keep it up ;)
Hi Aria. I really enjoy your tutorials, very very educative and I have learnt a lot with you. My only wish from you is that maybe you can enable pressed keys on screen while making tutorials so that I can easily follow the keys you press also. I am very new to Blender. Thank you very much for your hard work.
yo, what do you run on your build?? I mean it's really fast and also btw a great tutorial to learn more about particles, U've become my go-to for blender physics and particles.... keep going
