Man I have been waiting for this hook to come out!! Can’t believe I missed the video by 8 days!! SMH! I hope they aren’t sold out!! Good stuff Matt, as always!
I don't know how I missed this video when it came out a couple days ago. Mine just showed up in the mail today. Got some of all three sizes. I am very excited! I cannot wait to get them on the water. Soon as I seen Johnny's video last week I immediately put in an order. I love that side to side body roll. As well as keeping the bait the size it is when you buy it. I've never liked swimbait heads. As well as all of the other benefits you've mentioned. Keep up the innovating. I hope you guys change the industry
Y’all are killing it this year. Im already thinking of baits and tactics that the Tush will work great with. I love the fact that you never used the term “game changer” ,which it definitely is. Keep up the good work!!!
Matt, I have one suggestion..........start your tush video's with zz top tush. I love your channel , and really appreciate all the info you provide for us. I received my order of Tush heads, and cant wait to try it out on the lake this weekend. Great channel you have, and always look forward for to the next one. God bless my friend
Can’t wait for the one with the brush guard! Hopefully one on the 3/4 w/ 7o put that thing in a mag draft freestyle! SHEEEESH! 🙌🏽 I hate the belly weighted hooks. If you want to keep the clean profile. You have to use a smaller hook and lose too many fish. With this one, I’d bet I wouldn’t jump many fish off on it!
Matt I paused the video before you got finished reeling in the first smallmouth and placed my order. If you helped design it and then I had to have it.
I’ve got some of all 3 sizes and weights ordered. Can’t wait to try them. The Core hover rig jig heads are fantastic. I have a feeling the Tush will be just as effective. Thank you Matt!

I want a couple of those Core Tackle Decals you have one the boat and after my next VA payday i'm going to place my order for the Tush and also get some more of the hover rigs. Can't wait to put the tush to use, Ihave been smashing the Spot Bass on the Hover Rig. Thanks again, Tight Lines and Screaming Drags Matt!!!!!!!!

@MattStefanFishing I got my Hover Rigs in about a week ago. I've used the 1/8oz with a purple shadow 3.5" X-ZONE Adrenaline Craw Jr. Caught 2 dinks, but had fun and nothing else I threw did me any good. So 2 thumbs up for the Hover Rig! It's a new part of my arsenal now. I'm sure the TUSH will be too.
I'm sold. I will be ordering. My wife heard you talking about belly roll. She said that if I didn't stop eating ice cream that I would have belly roll. 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Always have a finesse swimbait tied on so I'll be picking up some of the 2/0, It'd be nice to see the 2/0 and 4/0 come in some different weights eventually
No doubt. You have to start somewhere, and eventually I have no doubt with this and the hover rig you'll have various weights with all the sizes down the road
MHX NMB-873 Here is the exact rod kit to build it mudhole.com/collections/matt-stefan-signature-rod-building-kits/products/matt-stefan-73-med-heavy-all-around-casting-rod-component-kit
Matt that straight down fall of a ball head triggers a lot of bites for me .Similar to a zoom z craw on a jig. As for the added length to the bait a 1/4 oz lead ball head measures 5/16" tungsten would be much smaller .I'm sure the tush is a good bait .Just don't see a need to abandon what is working great for me.I could see that working good for replacing bigger ball head weights. Thanks for sharing Be safe
Just ordered. Looking forward to trying it out. Hate the screw lock designs of so many jig heads. No matter what I do, the bait ends up twisted. User error probably so now I have a way to lock in baits without that hassle. Keep up the innovation at Core Tackle!
I have been absolutely smoking them on this hook using a spunk shad strait tail and ive cought hundreds! Ive only been fishing them for a week! My bait lasts so long as well! I catch at least 15 bass per bait on average and even then its easy to repair the bait with some glue in a few seconds! Its saved me tons of money already!
@@MattStefanFishing absolutely! Used to 3/8 with the 4/0 hook in 8 to 14 ft of water on a 4 and a half or 5 inch white spunk shad and throw it way out and let it sink to the bottom and give it 4 or 3 reel turns while simultaneously pulling the rod towards me trading off between three and 4 reel turns and let it sink back down on bowed line to the bottom all the way through the fish. I've caught hundreds like I said and they are good ones too! I've been getting my biggest fish like that! After they stop biting it and it takes a long time for them to stop which is awesome, I clean up with a bucktail jig and move to the next spot. It's been insane! Best hook ever! Followed closely by the hover rig!
@@MattStefanFishing so thank you so much for developing these hooks! I love them and couldn't imagine not having them now!! I just ordered way more off your site cause tackle warehouse is out(not suprised with how good they are!!
I can't help myself! Sitting here talking about your tush is a little strange. And then talking about dragging your tush over the rocks sounds a little painful!!! But anyway you can count me "IN" on this one! I don't have to wrap a hook shank with lead for this same effect. Saved me some work with this one. 😊😊😊
You Had me sold as soon as i saw it! Unfortunately it's lead and my state of Nh thinks that if a Loon eats that jig head it will die from lead poisoning and not the 2/0 .4/0 or 7/0 hook. Weird? Any chance core would pour some in tin bismouth. Hover rigs too?
The original way I rig a Keitech is weightless anyway...you WILL get the rolling action if it's weightless as well. The 3.3 & 3.8 are my personal favorites.
I just bought some of these, they haven't arrived yet- but they look really interesting. Now- figure out how to make a Tush Underspin, please. I use the little Picasso single barrel underspins that are a regular jig head with a little plastic arm and collar you slide up the shank of the hook to make it an underspin. The Picasso thingy doesn't come off- it's kind of hard to explain but it's securely attached to the hook. I always seem to do better if I add a blade to my swimbait.
Looks like a nice swimbait head. I really like your hover rig jigheads and was going to buy some of these but why is core tackle charging 11.90 for shipping? It does not cost that much to ship a few packs of jigheads.
