I built my replica of the Colonial Viper with cardboard, glue and the toilet paper center rolls. My version was so good it was stolen when I brought it to school. I cried so hard because I spent countless hours building it. I didn't even take a picture of it, and should have.
This guy is fortunate to build a big toy like this one on his driveway. Cannot do this fun projects anywhere else due to HOAs. Thank you for sharing - it looks so mu fun!!!!!

Except you excluded all of the other people who worked on this project. It was a TEAM of people who built this. A TEAM. Not just one man. You can imagine our disappointment when you excluded all of the hard work everyone did when you gave all of the credit to just one person.
The layout, and for what?I understand that you can blow through the aerodinomic pipe,even slightly change the wings,make not a model but a single-seat plane, there are now a shaft of engines, you can also put jet engines,or you can make a propeller-driven cockpit in the front, because it's better to fly,it's better to sit on the ground in a cardboard box.(translated through a translator)
Technically speaking it's just the Viper if you're only looking at the original TOS. In the re-imagined timeline it would be the Mk1 Viper. The ones we see flying in the reimagined show are the Mk2 and MkVII Vipers, but we do see a brief glimpse of a Mk1 in the museum during the pilot miniseries.
No mark II or Mark IV in the real Battlestar Galactica. You know, where Humans are Humans, ceylons are machines. I mean the Moore Battlestar was pretty good, but by the third episode I knew that all humans were going to be ceylons by the end of it. In the original series it was a drama warning of the pitfalls of wreckless development of technology. The Ceylon race built smart machine that genocides them and then proceeded to try to eliminate all biological lifethey encountered.

A job well done! I wanted to build one 20 years ago but was hampered by space restrictions.
If I was a billionaire I would build a flying version..40 million should be enough to get it to fly at half its expected proformance

The trick is to use Constellation vacuum cleaners as the sound effect for the engines. ;-)
