60 Assembly Constituency in Manipur in which 40 are Valley and 20 are Hill. There is a big lack of development in hill seeing the comparision of Valley and Hill budget share.
1. 2017-2018: 5000Cr = 5000÷60= 83.33
Valley: 83.33×40= 333.2
Hill: 83.33×20=1666.6
But Valley get: 4892 and Hill get: 108
2. 2018-2019: 4900Cr = 4900÷60= 81.66
Valley: 81.66×40= 3266.4Cr
Hill: 81.66×20=1633.2Cr
But Valley get: 4750 and Hill get: 150
3. 2019-2020: 5000Cr = 5000÷60= 83.33
Valley: 83.33×40= 333.2 Cr
Hill: 83.33×20=1666.6Cr
But Valley get: 4880 and Hill get: 120
4. 2020-2021: 7000Cr = 7000÷60= 116.66
Valley: 116.66×40= 4666.4Cr
Hill: 116.66×20=2333.2Cr
But Valley get: 6959Cr and Hill get: 41Cr

A very good interview explaining the causes and intentions behind the conflict, and shedding light on the politics behind it. However, I'd not describe Sharat Pradhan as a good interviewer because he didn't allow the guest to complete her answers before interrupting.

Understand from previous speakers that only 30% of the hills are actually inhabitable and inhabited, the rest of the hill areas are actually thick uninhabitable forest. And the Kuki people are only 18% of the total population of Manipur.
