Thanks so much Mack! I was out this morning early in a kayak in Murrells Inlet creeks today. I caught about five flounder between 11 and 15 inches on soft plastic jerkbait rigged on a weighted weedless hook. I saw a few smaller red fish tailing but it was slack tide and they weren't eating. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge I’ve been studying a lot and only get the fish about two weeks of the year down here so love to make the most of my time.
I'm going to surfside first week of May. I have a 9ft med heavy 30lb braid with 30lb fluro leader fish finder and carolina rigs. Plan to fish out front my condo every morning and evening as well into the night. Or am I wasting my time fishing the surf there and at night in May
Looking at the creek the runs parallel to the bridge heading into Garden City, what is the best method to fish this creek? Do you think the bend in the creek nearest the pier is productive? Coming to GC the end of May/Early June

did you catch, or see any pompano?
Every so often we snag pompano. Good sized ones too. But few and far between. Usually middle of summer for me personally.
