Lena Bazhenova.. you are absolutely right. Efferent arteriolar constriction does cause increased GFR as told by sir in video.. (appreciate much) but then again as Lena said it actually finally decreases the filtration process. It has a biphasic effect on GFR.
brilliant once again thanks sooooooooooooo much, love your pace of delivery, and you have such a pleasant voice to listen to. only wish you were my teacher at school. very glad to have you online. love and light karen
Lovely video content! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you thought about - Jeedylian Surveys Goldmine (do a search on google)? It is a great one off product for uncovering the secret to get rid of your kidney disease minus the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 after many years got astronomical success with it.

Isn't the increase in GFR due to efferent constriction only transient? After a time, as there is less blood flow to the glomerulus and fluid is squeezed out, the oncoctic pressure in the glomerulus will build up, which will draw fluid back into the blood. So, overall, GFR would decrease. Yes?
I believe that the effect is biphasic; at moderate levels of efferent arteriolar constriction, resistance to flow and thus GFR will rise. Once resistance reaches 3x normal, you will indeed begin to decrease the GFR due to abnormally elevated glomerular oncotic pressure
this great, useful and so simple... I'm a med student from Morocco plz if u can add more videos about neural physiology it will be great... thank u so much
love your videos!!! I have a short attention span and your delivery is spectacular in terms of quality and in such a concise manner too! thanks a lot :)
Does Hybetez Remedy really work? I see a lot of people keep on speaking about Hybetez Remedy. But Im uncertain if it's good enough to cure your high blood pressure issue naturally .
Hey Guys. I am a 50 year old male, with one kidney. I donated my other kidney in 2010. Over the years, my eGFR numbers have ranged from 56 to my 2 most recent eGFR numbers -June-39, and July-44. It has been as high as 51 in September of 2015, but this 39 I got in June was the lowest ever. My kidney specialist doesn't seem concerned with this number, nor my creatinine numbers which have ranged from 1.46, to my most recent in July- 1.76 because of the fact I am working on one kidney. Is he right? Should I not be concerned about the 44 eGFR number? What is the "ideal" eGFR # for a white male, age 50, with one kidney??

I liked this video. He showed how blood pressure and flow can influence GFR, but I didn't see the other factors that can influence GFR such as Hormonal regulation (Aldoterone, ADH, Renin-angiotensin, ANP), obstruction to urine flow, and the loss of protein free fluid.
Does Hybetez Remedy really help to treat your high blood pressure issue inherently ? I have read many good stuff about this high blood pressure treatment.
Great presentations because: - Full visualisation up close instead of far away on a white board hidden behind a teacher. - Specific separated subjects instead of everything in one Video. - Your clear voice instead of poor quality soundtracks or teacher with strong accents. - Great resume of content without a lot of small talk in between the important Information. - Great quality drawing and sped up so we can quickly see what is being thaught. - Drawing are drawn in synchro with explanation
I love your videos. They teach me so much so quickly. I always watch them before I read my text book. It makes reading so much faster when I already understand a lot of what it is saying. Thanks for you hard work!!
sir we are taught in physics that when diameter of pipe decreases the flow of water increases and so pressure decreases since blood is also a fluid isn't the renal flow constant

I wish you would go into what hormone causes the constriction.

concise and informative. So much better than lecture
So soothing to watch.
this great, useful and so simple... I'm a med student from Morocco
plz if u can add more videos about neural physiology it will be great... thank u so much
It'd be useful if you could mention what causes these restrictions, but that aside great work.l
Hi :) Do you have a video of the 3 mechanisms that control if the GFR?
- Renal autoregulation
- Neural Regulation
- Hormonal regulation
Hello sir, where r u now??im from Bangladesh & looking forward to ur new more tutorials
Extremely well done!!!! Exemplary!
Sir in normal situation where no constriction is occur and diameter of afferent arteriole increase than what effect on gfr???
Could you tell us what hormones cause vasoconstriction in the afferent and efferent arterioles?
you gave it in a nutshell great work thank you sir
Wonderful mini lecture
Simply explained. Thanks so much!
Finally understood this thank u!
love your videos!!! I have a short attention span and your delivery is spectacular in terms of quality and in such a concise manner too! thanks a lot :)

Why albumin cannot pass through while creatinine can though albumin is 79KD but creatinine is 113KD?
Why has this guy stopped making videos like these??
A big THANK YOU SIR !
greatly explained
I love ur videos

Awesome! Thank you!
Anyone know what is Hybetez Remedy about? I hear most people treat their high blood pressure issue naturally with this high blood pressure remedy.
excellent thank you.
A million dollar video
Yes sir enjoyable and understandable feedback thanks 16/09/2022
Does Hybetez Remedy really work? I see a lot of people keep on speaking about Hybetez Remedy. But Im uncertain if it's good enough to cure your high blood pressure issue naturally .
Why is creatinine used to measure the GFR instead of inulin?
zeromethanez It's because creatinine is found naturally in your body (released from muscles) while inulin has to be administered intravenously. :)
Thank you!! :)
+zeromethanez Creatinine is a waste product of creatine. Creatinine will end up in your urine if functioning correctly.
wanted to add to my playlist but i cant…does anyone know how to…?
thanks a lot
Thanks so much
you're awsome!
Nice excellent
Yeah sir pretty helpful but text book says something different
life long useful...!!
